At 36 Hamblen Way our mission is to deliver an exceptional Vineyard vacation experience for you and your family.

Located on the outskirt of historic downtown Edgartown, our property is known for its spaciousness, its deep connections to the surrounding natural world, and offering plenty of privacy. This combination is a rarity in Edgartown.

Consisting of four well-appointed bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and central air conditioning throughout, this home has everything you’ll need to enjoy your summer stay. With southern exposure, most bedrooms and common rooms receive apply an amount of sunlight throughout the day.

As of the ’23 summer season, the in-ground pool, 40X20, will be offered as heated with a small fee to cover heating costs.

Simply put, it’s our guarantee that everyone in the family will find their individual and unique sanctuary while on our property. As a bonus, we invite you to bring along your pets as well because no vacation is complete without all family members being in attendance.

And, in the spirit of all things Martha’s Vineyard, we do our best to make you feel welcomed and cared for during your stay. Should any issues arise our caretaker is close by to assist.

Family Escape

The property exceeded our expectations. We travelled with our teenage daughters and our two dogs. The photos are accurate and don’t capture the feeling of Privacy and quiet that we really appreciated in this property. Walking into Edgartown is a healthy walk but we managed it several times. Bike paths and nature walks are right next to the property and both Edgartown and Oaks Bluffs center are only 5-10 minutes in the car. Renting linens was easier than we thought, though we found it challenging to keep track of everything and to make all the beds after a long trip. But a minor inconvenience for an otherwise fantastic week that our entire family thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend this rental.

Amazing home!

The home was fabulous and it had everything we could possibly want - nice rooms, comfortable beds, a great kitchen, a fabulous deck, and of course the amazing pool! The location was perfect - an easy bike ride to downtown Edgartown and multiple beaches, yet private and quiet when around the house. Short walk to hiking trail, which was great for our dog. Owner was a pleasure to work with and offered great suggestions to us, first-time visitors. Overall, fabulous!

Me, my wife Ali, and our son Theo, currently live in Bermuda, however, I still manage most of the details of the property from afar. It is essential for our family that you and your family have the best experience on the property that we can deliver. Therefore, we aim to maintain your privacy and look to help your stay in any way. Should any issues arise while on the property, our caretaker lives in the guest house next door. His mission is to provide support when needed but also to not be seen or heard otherwise.
