Our second time staying at this gem of a cabin. Right on the river, an abundance of wildlife, and beautiful fall colors this time of year. We look forward to returning! Thank you!
Thank you so much, the property was beautiful and away from everything. We are hoping to come back and be able to enjoy the location rather than attend a wedding.
This property has great gathering spaces inside and out. They provide a huge kitchen to prepare meals, hammocks, kayaks and canoes with easy access to the Chippewa. Beds were great, kitchen huge. Only slight drawback was 1 bathroom.
I can't imagine renting any other house when I'm in the Ladysmith Wisconsin area. It's so cozy and has everything one could need. My favorite feature is the no steps access so bringing in luggage and supplies is so easy. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Very nice quality products in the shower. Already looking forward to our next stay.
Everything was laid out perfectly, the cabin has all the amenities you'd need for a relaxing stay in the woods. The property is well taken care of and easy to navigate. Would definitely stay again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We love this property. It has everything and then some. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Unpacking your vehicle is a breeze - just back up to the garage door and unload everything - no steps at all to enter the home. Super quiet - only the sounds of birds.
What an amazing stay. Right on the river, we saw deer and hawks, and it was the perfect time of year to see the fall colors. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and we cooked in the well supplied kitchen every night. Would love to stay again. Thank you!
From check in to check out the entire stay was effortless and everything it was advertised to be. Beautiful and serene property located on the quiet Chippewa River. The home was wonderfully kept and had pretty much anything you would need to enjoy your stay. Only had one question for the host and was answered immediately. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area. Had great trials to walk on and can imagine would be great during the winter for cross country skiing as well as has close proximity to many acres to enjoy that sport. Thank you to the Hosts for opening this home up to stay in. Absolutely loved it.
Totally blown away by this property! Every thing was thoughtfully provided to make the stay complete and comfortable. The only problem we encountered was the mosquitoes!
Beautiful! Very clean, well kept and well appointed. A great place to gather with a group, or just get away. Host(ess) is easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Thank you Lindsay. Couldn’t have worked out better!
We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful house and property. Everything that we needed was there and more. So many small things like floss picks to beach towels and blankets to sit outside. The kayaks and canoes were great to get out on the river. Guys caught some nice small mouth bass and a few got away. Our family truly enjoyed everything and we will be back for sure. Thank you
I found this cabin for my 41st birthday. My boyfriend and I were extremely impressed by how clean and fully stocked the cabin was. Every room was decorated sooo cute, too! I've rented a few VRBO's and this is by far my favorite! Beautiful cabin, beautiful property. We took advantage of the disc golf course within walking distance and then drove to the mini golf in town. SO FUN! We also took a day trip to hike at Copper Falls. All in all, we had ZERO complaints. We had n absolutely amazing time here.
So peaceful, the only sounds were birds singing. Beautiful kitchen all set for cooking and baking. Very comfy and good looking furniture. Great mattress, slept soundly every night. Coffee bar, nice size towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower just like a fine hotel. The owner really thought of everything one needs. Just bring your clothes and groceries! We can't wait to stay at The Chippewa River House again.
