Just 12 miles north of Bemidji, you're close to town but feel worlds away. With the lake right below your deck, you can fish, explore the Paul Bunyan Trail, or simply soak in the elevated views. The lake connects to a chain of five lakes, offering endless opportunities for boating and exploration.

This was perfect for my weekend of hiking. The resort was quiet, and the cabin was clean and comfortable. Several people had their dogs along, but all were responsible owners. It was one of my top stays through VRBO.
