Overall, we had a good stay. The home was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and it worked well for our trip. There were just a few things that could be improved. The three bigger throw blankets in the master bedroom closet had pet hair on them, so it didn't seem like they had been washed before our stay. There were also a few noticeable smudges on some of the walls. While this wasn’t a big deal, I wanted to mention it so the owner can let their cleaning crew know to keep an eye out for little details like that. If you're traveling with pets, it's also worth knowing that the backyard is all rocks with no grass, which wasn't ideal for taking our dog out to use the bathroom. She definitely was not a fan of it. Another thing to be aware of is that the living room doesn't have blinds or curtains. While the fenced backyard does provide privacy, the gaps between the fence boards made it feel slightly less private than expected at night. Since I also live in Florida, I know how intense the sun and heat can be here. The lack of blinds or curtains in the main living area allowed a lot of sunlight into the house, making it warmer during the day. With the thermostat limited to 70F, it seemed like the AC had a harder time keeping the main living space cool.Overall, we enjoyed our stay! These are simply a few details that future guests may find helpful to know.
