Great location for hiking enthusiasts

Nice property, very close to Sam’s Point trailheads. We were there to hike, so this was perfect. We would definitely book again.

This house was a gem in cleanliness, surroundings, location, functionality. The kitchen was truly well-supplied and we cooked every breakfast and dinner easily for six of us. The appliances work great as well. The bedrooms were comfortable, we were very grateful for three full bathrooms! The property is so nice, it is quiet and it felt very remote and peaceful. The response from the owners really was very quick when we had any questions. There was much thoughtful planning that went into the home. I highly recommend this home!

This was my first time using VRBO and likely my last. There is a lot learn and the host of the property took the time to educate me on this.I made a lot of assumptions about the property and I should have paid more attention to the written part of the listing. I fully thought, from the pictures, that the fireplace was going to be working but the host mentioned that it wasn't part of the lisitng - so they had not obligations to keep it functioning. I should have found a property that specifically states "Working Fireplace." During our stay, unfortunately, there was a storm leaving us without electricity and water on the final night of our stay. The host graciously paid for our dinner at a nearby restaurant, which was very nice. They told me this happens usually in the winter months and unseasonable to happen in October. The house itself wasn't prepared, there were no flashlights or any instructions on what to do. The host told me I should have found properties with "Backup Generators" mentioned in the lisitng and that I should have prepared my travel equipment accordingly. The house, overall, is nice with a few qwerks. The interior is sparce, in need of some character. The kitchen has coffee, milk, and orange juice. There are also some pantry staples in the cabinets.Anyways, there is too much to be aware of and I doubt i would book with VRBO again.

Beautiful home that completely exceeded expectations. We stayed with 3 babies under 3 - there were toys, stuffies, a crib and pack-n-play, and a baby swing. Just down the road, there is a short walk with a beautiful vista, which was the longest distance we could have possibly done (0.65mi each way). I would absolutely come back here for more fall weekends! Perfect for young families. The only risk is there is a staircase - would bring a baby gate next time.
