Nestled on top of the Rockies with breathtaking views of Tenmile Range, our luxury home has everything you want for a mountain getaway. Tenmile Terrace offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to ski runs and the charming Victorian town of Breckenridge. A short walk to the Summit Stage bus stop connects you to free, year round, and convenient transportation directly to the ski slopes and the quaint downtown. For those who prefer to stay home, you can’t find a better destination to soak in the beautiful mountain views, alpine forest, and brilliant starry nights.

Upon entry to the duplex through the front door or heated two car garage, you immediately feel at home in the large, open, and roomy upstairs family gathering area. The living area is outfitted with comfortable furnishings surrounding a rock fireplace and flat screen television. The mountain decor and log cabin furniture throughout the house adds to the high-country ambiance. Just off the living room and adjacent to the dining area is the spacious gourmet kitchen trimmed in beautiful wood and granite surfaces. Conveniently located on the main floor is the large master bedroom and recently remodeled luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower. Access to the large upper deck is through the master as well as the living area.

The lower level continues with the theme of spacious, openness with its own rock fireplace, flat screen TV, and comfortable sitting area with plenty of space for the entire family. There are 3 large bedrooms downstairs including a second master suite with a fluffy log king bed and over-sized remodeled bathroom with Champaigne-bubble jetted tub and walk-in shower. The second bedroom contains a cozy log queen bed and the bunk room has a queen bed along with two twin-over-twin bunk beds – each bedroom with its own fully remodeled bathroom. Also downstairs is the custom pool table made from beautiful pine logs, a Foos ball table, and a large hot tub on the lower deck.

Did I mention the amazing views? Whether relaxing in the living room, tinkering in the kitchen, feasting in the dining room or waking up in the bedroom, the views are unforgettable. Tenmile Terrace is the perfect mix of solitude, comfort, convenience and sensory fulfillment. Whether you visit in winter, spring, summer or fall you are in for a treat. The mountain decor and log furniture give it a cabin feel while being comfortable and well stocked. A full kitchen has everything you would need to prepare meals including a full supply of spices. There is a drip coffee pot, Keurig, KitchenAid mixer, Vitamix blender, waffle maker, crock pots and toaster oven. There is a full-size crib, two Pack-n-play's, a high chair, box fans, an installed baby gate and kid-friendly dining ware for the little ones.

Graduates of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, we spent many weekends in the Smoky Mountains. We love to hike and enjoy all other outdoor activities. We have found a year-round outdoor paradise in Breckenridge. Though our favorite time of the year to visit Breck is summer and fall, our 3 grown children and their families take full advantage of the winter sports.

With family in Wisconsin, Texas, Tennessee, New York, Oklahoma, and Virginia we needed a spot to gather.

We purchased Tenmile Terrace as a place for family and friends to be together in a comfortable, spacious home near year-round outdoor activities. We searched for just the right property and knew this was it. We felt at home the moment we walked in. The floorplan is open and the large windows allow for lots of light as well as views from every vantage point. There is space to allow everyone to spread out while still being together. The home is private and secluded while being only minutes away from shopping, restaurants and skiing. And if you don't want to get in your car, the free, convenient, year-round shuttle is just a short walk away.
