Drive to cabin was scenic over some winding roads. Once there you discover a beautiful cabin nestled among the other cabins separated by vegetation isolating each cabin. Quiet and peaceful.
Wonderful accommodation and location. Good for two couples or single family. Bed mattresses are somewhat soft depending on what you are accustomed to. Great to have washer and dryer available. Bring your own Kleenex and coffee, tea preferences.
Very cutely decorated mountain cabin! Beds are super comfy! There is glass above each bedroom that allows you to see the lights in the other bedrooms (it's solid so you don't hear them) so if light bothers you make sure you travel with those who will go to bed around the same time as you. Hot tub is great and the house has everything you need to cook a meal.

Thanks, Jennifer. It was a pleasure to have you stay in our cabin.
Night lights would be nice and I plan on packing them in the future because I’ve seen this in other places I’ve gone to. The family bathroom is on the main floor so if this is an issue for you in the night, be aware of that. There is a bathroom in the primary bedroom. These are not complaints. It’s just we are older now and going downstairs in the night can prove to be difficult. Salt and pepper is provided but nothing else, so if you plan on cooking bring anything you need including sugar. Sharon was very helpful and prompt and communicating with me and the property is well cared for. We had a lovely time.
This cabin was great for a cozy weekend! The overall design and decor were very thought-out and made it the perfect cabin vibes! It was close to lots of hikes and nature. The sauna and hot tub were a huge plus for us!!! Sharon was very communicative and so sweet! A few tips for your trip:- The check-in process was something we've never experienced before - the keys were in a lockbox located at a restaurant across the road. Not too complicated, but the extra step felt odd - but there were tons of lockboxes, so I figure this is the rule of the community.- The hot tub takes a while to heat up, so make sure you turn it on right when you arrive!- There aren't a ton of restaurant options nearby, but our favorites were Gunners Tex Mex BBQ and Wake N Bakery!- Perhaps the biggest hiccup was our experience with the community entrance gate. Sharon had in her notes that only one vehicle can pass through at a time (or there will be a fine!). Unfortunately, my parents still tried to go through after me, and the gate immediately snapped on top of their car (it's very cheap material). I told Sharon right away, and she was VERY sweet about it - says it happens all the time. But the community "security" officer was NOT so sweet about it. Within 30 minutes of our arrival, he was banging on our door, told us how big of a deal it was, and handed us a ticket for 260. It was, of course, our fault, but I wish they were as sweet as Sharon. Learn from us and follow those gate instructions!!!!!
Nice place. It is worth noting that the upstairs bathroom is attached to one of the bedrooms, and the other bathroom is downstairs. So if you need to get up in the night this may be an issue. Also- the community is gated and you need a card to get in- there is no code, so if you have more than one car, you’ll need to ask the owner for a second one, which requires returning to Cloud Nine to get the card from a lockbox. Also- bring your own spices and cooking oil. The kitchen only had a small bit of salt and some pepper- nothing else. There weren’t any big utensil spoons, which made stirring stew a challenge. Overall it was a nice spot, but there were just a few things that caused some minor inconvenience. Can’t fix the bathroom situation, but the kitchen should be better stocked, or bring/purchase kitchen staples when you arrive.

Thank you so much for staying with us and for sharing your valuable feedback! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the place overall.
We always aim to make our guests' stay as seamless as possible. Based on your suggestions, we have added several more large soup spoons to the kitchen. We have also updated our arrival guide to simplify the gate card process for groups arriving in multiple vehicles. While we would love to supply cooking items such as spices and oil, local regulations from the Whatcom County Health Department unfortunately prohibit us from providing them, as noted in our description.
We sincerely appreciate your insights on how we can improve, and we would be delighted to host you again some time.
