Stay at Villa Baron

Spectacular property, very private lot, beautifully furnished chalet. Large bedrooms, nice covered patio with BBQ and hot tub that can be used all year round. Great for large or extended families.

Top Notch Property

My family and I very much enjoyed this property. It was the cleanest VRBO that we have ever seen. It was well equipped and in a superb location. No complaints from any family members. We were sorry to leave.

Perfect Winter Retreat

Even better than the pictures, this home for the holidays was incredible. Spacious yet cosy, it was ideal for our family Christmas get together. Plus the house was beautifully decorated with a tree and plenty of festive decorations. Communication was also fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cottage

We enjoyed very much the house, beautifully decorated. Just a few remarks to make it perfect: We were just short in large pans, large plates to serve 13 people, salad spinner, kitchen ware. The dish washer was not stable and quite small for such a large number. The bath towels were not enough and not great quality and the beds were not very comfortable. The sofa bed was broken. The table outside was too small for 13 people.

Wonderful family vacation!

My family chose to spend a week in the Charlevoix area of Quebec, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of Chalet Charlevoix! We are a family of 8 adults and one toddler, and had more than enough room to relax and make ourselves comfortable in the chalet that is designed for enjoying all that the region has to offer. We spent every day hiking or sightseeing, but were happy to return at the end of the day to a home that felt like "home". Pictures of the chalet do not do justice, because it is far more beautiful in person. About an hour from Quebec City, we took advantage of tha tarea for 2 days, but then were happy to spend the rest of our time in Baie-St-Paul and St. Irenee and the National Parks, and especially the house. Monia is a delight to communicate with, and her personal touches made our stay most pleasant! I would recommend staying here all seasons, you will not be sorry!

Fantastic place as always

This is the second time that we decided to stay at Chalet Charlevoix during our ski vacation, and our third time in the Le Massif de Charlevoix area. The place was spacious and yet cozy. The view from the living room is spectacular. And the snow .... 50cm in just 24 hours during one of our days there. We will be going again and will be staying at Chalet Charlevoix if we can.

Aussie Family Vacation

We spent a week at this fabulous chalet with our half Canadian and half Australian family just before Christmas. The Aussies were absolutely amazed at how beautiful and exciting the Charlevoix winter is. We were all absolutely thrilled with this lovely chalet. It is so luxurious in size, furnishings and ambiance. No detail is overlooked. We are a family that does a lot of travelling and this is definitely the best rental any of us has experienced. This beautiful chalet helped set the mood for a wonderful family holiday. I would highly recommend thischalet to anyone and we are all excited to return ourselves.

Perfect for family get-together

This property was everything it purported to be in its advertisement. The property is fairly new and in excellent condition. It is elegant, yet comfortable. All bathrooms are large and have quality fixtures. The kitchen is equipped with first class appliances and cooking utensils. We used the property for an adult family get-together. Every couple had its own bedroom and bath. We could be together in the public areas, yet have plenty of space in our private Reas. The owners were easy to work with and provided immediate assistance when questions arose during our stay. My husband is visually impaired, so we could have used some extra lighting in the studio part of the house. We would also have liked a well-lighted spot with a card table somewhere in the house. Still, we found this property excellent, and so did all of our guests. We highly recommend it.

A wonderful week with friends

We made an excellent choice when we rented the beautiful CHALET CHARLEVOIX. It certainly met our expections after seeing the website and reading the description of the house. We were a group of 8 covering three generations and to a person we agreed that there was no better place for us to spend time together. The furnishings and the amenities were more than adequate and the spacious design gave us all space to chill out whenever we felt the need.The countryside of Charlevoix is very beautiful and although we had personally travelled in the area a number of times, our friends had not, and they enjoyed it very much. Among the many activities in the area are strolling the streets of Baie Saint Paul, Whale Watching, dinner at the Bootlegger, a day trip to Ile Aux Coudres or just staying at the Chalet, using the hot tub and making a fire to roast marshmallows! The owners have made a terrific place for vacationers to put down stakes for a few days, no matter what time of the year....thanks to them we had a great week.

Amazing property

A perfect stay

The chalet is amazing and functionnal for a large group. Everything you need is there. The decoration is nicely done. The space is perfectly designed so that everyone has their intimacy. You have to see it!

My dream home...

What an amazing, fabulous home! Came home from our vacation so reluctantly... wishing we could stay another week, or two... The downside - it's a very, very long drive from Maryland. The rest - everything there was wonderful. We had high expectations from the photos and descriptions, but the house is so much better. The attention to detail, the quality and the abundance of extras is just amazing. The kitchen is fabulous, with a great selection of appliances, tools and kitchenware in abundance. The open layout, the spacious dining area and the expansive seating in the living areas makes this the most comfortable of all of the vacation homes we've rented - and frankly, one of the nicest homes I've experienced rental or otherwise. It is truly stunning. Thanks for sharing it!

Extraordinary!!!

This amazing chalet went way beyond our expectations! I just returned from our stay with 10 people. So nice to have a bedroom for each couple. Real perk to have the two livings areas with a large group. The photos do not disappoint ...... looks just like it! The attention to detail is amazing and so comfortably furnished. It is a 15 minute drive from Le Massif. We lucked out as ski conditions could not have been better. Snowshoe trails are incredibly scenic. However, even if the weather had not been in our favour, we would have been happy just to stay at the chalet!

Absolutely superb chalet for winter getaway!

Wow! What a most splendid chalet! The accommodations were just unexpectedly beautiful and extravagant! The owners certainly spared no expense! Beautiful decor throughout, amazing gourmet kitchen, great amenities for adults and children: pool table, games, and more! A big heartfelt “Thank You” from all of us! We enjoyed the whole experience Charlevoix has to offer: amazing scenery, stupendous skiing at Le Massif, relaxing après-ski in the sauna and hot-tub…memories to last… We most definitely will be recommending this property to our other friends and family and hope to one day come back in this wonderful neck of the woods!

Gracious home in the mountains

We stayed here in this lovely house with two other families. It fit us all with plenty of room. It seemed that every detail had been considered when building the house, from the large and modern kitchen, to the beautiful bathrooms, and everything was in pristine condition. The kids had plenty to do between the outdoors, the pool table and the video games. The hot tub and sauna were welcome relief after a day of skiing. The mountain was about 10-15 minutes away. We would definitely consider staying here again.

A truly extraordinary vacation property!

I just returned from a 5 night stay in Quebec and can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had with a vacation rental. The house is beautiful - new construction with impeccable decor and details. We were 3 families totaling 11 people. I don't think I would go larger than a group of 12. Every portion of the rental was exceptional from the very large hot tub/outdoor spa to the gourmet kitchen that was completely stocked and the pool table. The chalet is a short drive from Le Massif and the perfect base for skiing. My only regret was that we didn't stay at the chalet for our entire trip! We spent 2 nights in Quebec which we all agreed would have been better spent in Charlevoix. I would highly recommend this chalet and the owners to any renter. Take care of this property...it's a gem! C'est magnifique!
