A very nice cabin. We enjoyed the privacy, the view, the furnishings, and the TV room. Even the outside deck chairs were clean and ready to sit in. Normally we identify one or two things we don't like about a rental, but this cabin was well done and well maintained. We enjoyed the down time and visiting the local towns.
We asked for early check in but did not receive an acknowledgement and showed up one hour early. There were no cars there so we went in thinking that the place was ready. It had not been cleaned. We called and they immediately sent someone over to clean. We relaxed on the fantastic porch and enjoyed the amazing view. This is a very nice home in a very secluded location. It is about a ten minute drive to the Caverns and to local restaurants. We recommend this home to anyone (four people max) who is coming to the caverns and wants a home vs. hotel. I think the price was reasonable based on other offerings. Having a kitchen makes it very worthwhile.
The property has amazing views and up on a hill. The road was steep and gravel lined. We got there after sunset and it was a bit difficult driving. However, the cabin was welcoming and worth the drive up. We could not find a wine opener in the kitchen and after looking up on chat gpt opened the bottle. It was all smooth going after that. Will come back again! Thank you Joe for this lovely cabin. Merry Christmas! 2025.
