Nature & Environment
One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during their stay.

Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.

During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.

We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.

What To Bring
We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

The cabin was super clean, and so quiet in the area. Just relaxation all day and night. My family really enjoyed our stay at Big Bear. Great place. The only issue we had was that some of my family had to stay outside for two hours, cause we didn’t have the correct code to get into the cabin. Poor communication with the host.

Thank you for the 5-star review and for sharing your experience. Glad the cabin was super clean and so peaceful and that your family enjoyed Big Bear. Sorry about the access code mix-up and the delay at check-in — that’s not the standard we aim for. We’ve reviewed and tightened our check-in communications to prevent that from happening again. Hope to host you again soon!

The cabin was very nice! We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we see that needs improvement is the bathtubs are very slippery! Our 76 yr old Grandmother slipped in the tub because there is not anything on the bottoms for grip….
