We loved everything about it except for the shower. The room was comfortable and cozy. It was super easy to get to and the fact that it was only 10 minutes from the entrance of Glacier National Park was definitely a bonus.

James was accommodating and kind .. property clean and quiet .. unable to access river with paddle boards so we drove to a nearby lake for the morning. Solar shower great when the sunshines .. chilly if not but that’s not an issue for us. Fire pit near cabin was nice.

Good depending on your needs...
Check-in was a little difficult, I tried calling the property manager multiple times upon check-in and had issues getting ahold of him. When I did, he is quite a nice man. The listing didnt explain the shower and bathroom situation (porta potty and a outdoor plywood shower). It was fine for me and my husband because other properties were so expensive near Glacier National Park. I wouldnt recommend staying at this property though if you have children due to the shower and bath arrangements.
If you are used to camping, this would be a good property for you. I would not recommend it with kids. The bed was very comfortable, it was very quiet and peaceful. Once the host and I finally communicated after several tries it was fine, but I had to text his cell directly FYI.The location is great! If your phone is capable of a hotspot you can have Wi-Fi.Ladies, take a mirror! There is a very tiny mini fridge and a microwave, so that was good. The host also provides fans. I did not use the solar shower as it was not warm enough for my personal taste. I am a great camper, so I was able to make everything work just like I did with camping.
James is very nice to help out before our arrival. The cabin is simple but clean. The king size bed is comfortable. There are a mini fridge, a microwave, one table and two chairs in the cabin. The cabin is not big but quite practical. The outhouse and show room are also out in the yard clean. The shower water was not very warm but they provided us additional warm water in the bucket. Towels were provided but you’d better take your own soap and shampoo. The only thing not very convinient is they don’t have a basin and water source other than the shower. Fortuantely we have some containers to wash our fruits and vegetables when they gave us another bucket of freshwater. Overall, it was a good experience and James even made us a campfire the first evening we arrived. Their house is at the same territory. The cabin is only 15 mins drive to the west entrance and on the way there is a gas station. James asked us to drop in at his store and got some free coffee, we just didn’t get the time. Everything turns out to work properly. I and my teenage girl had a wonderful time in the national park. We look forward to going back another time.
