About the area
Hungry Horse
Located in Hungry Horse, this cabin is in the mountains. Glacier National Park and Lake McDonald reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Willow's HuckleberryLand and House of Mystery and Montana Vortex. Amazing Fun Center and Big Sky Waterpark are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
The cabin was as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Well stocked with kitchen extras . Quite neighborhood. 3 minutes from food, gas and groceries. Perfect location for quick and easy access to Glacier International Airport, Glacier National Park, Columbia Falls and Whitefish. My wife and I would definitely stay here again
Great location for what we had on our agenda. Very nice amenities and kitchenware. Excellent mattress!!! One of the quests was very unhappy and feels like we should get a refund since we had to wait a couple of hours for it to be cleaned.
The cabin was clean and stocked with essentials for cooking and doing laundry.
The heated floors are amazing if staying in the colder months.
All factors considered, couldn't have picked a better spot. Book it!
The cabin is perfect for visiting Glacier National Park. The cabin is only 20 minutes from park, and only one mile from Columbia Falls, a nice size town with great restaurants. The cabin had everything we needed, from wifi to washer/dryer to coffee maker and toaster. Thanks Holly.
Very quiet place to stay. Extremely short ride to entrance of Glacier National Park. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed dinner on the back patio. The host was very responsive to questions. Recommending this place to friends coming to the area.
Great property! Beds were SO COMFORTABLE! Especially for my husband who doesn’t sleep well and needs a really good mattress or else he’s really sore the next day. Place is good sized and is very close to GNP and other areas of interest. Very clean! Property manager was very nice and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend :)
We stayed here for our Glacier NP family vacation. It was a great place to retreat after a day of adventures. Loved being in the trees and felt like we were truly away from it all. A short, easy drive to West Glacier entrance. We are a family of 5, and had plenty of space to spread out. It was nice to be able to prepare some meals at the cabin and had everything we needed. There is an identical cabin adjacent, but we didn’t see our neighbors all that much. The town of Hungry Horse is small and pretty sleepy, except we were there for July 4th holiday and there was a lot of fireworks going off that night (and nights leading up to it). If you’re trying to get away from fireworks on July 4th, maybe not the best option. We didn’t use the hot tub as much as we wanted, but it was great after one of our long hikes. The floor of the cabin is sealed concrete, and I was not used to how hard it was. Wearing slippers and/or socks help. We went to Smith’s in Columbia Falls for groceries and Perfect Cuts Butcher Shop for meats, also in Columbia Falls. The Hungry Horse Dam and reservoir recreation area is nearby and it’s a huge place to explore (we visited the dam and didn’t know there was so much more to explore there).
Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable only 10 minutes to west entry. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay.
The cabin was as described in the listing and as depicted in the photos. It was quiet, clean, and spacious. It is set in a lovely forest, and the location in Hungry Horse is convenient for visiting the park or for dashing into town (Columbia Falls or Whitefish) for groceries or dinner.
Beautiful property! Perfect for our 3 day trip to Glacier National Park. Very close- but very private. Hot tub was great. Cooked most of our meals- kitchen had everything we needed. Spacious and comfortable!
Nice cabin, had everything we could have needed. Quiet neighborhood. Just 15 minutes to West Glacier, 10 minutes from Hungry Horse Reservoir (which should definitely be on you list of things to see if you're staying in the area.)
Cabin was spacious yet cozy. Wonderful location with easy access to Glacier. Very comfortable. This was our fourth time staying in this cabin because we like it so well!
Recent, spacious and well equipped single level home about 15 minutes from GNP west entrance. Comfortable and quiet. Large and clean hot tub on patio. Small lot with similar home close by but private enough to feel comfortable in the hot tub. Located in residential neighborhood with deep forest feel. Excellent choice for us.
My husband and I stayed here for our first trip to GNP. The cabin was perfect! Extremely clean, comfy beds, secluded yet close to everything. The hot tub was great for the cool nights. Highly recommend. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise.
We enjoyed our stay very much, was in a great location and easy to get to everything we wanted to see. We would recommend to anyone. House was clean and comfortable
Bearhat Cabin was a great location for our trip to GNP. The cabin was spacious (much larger than our impressions from the listing photos) and super clean. The hot tub was great after lots of hiking miles. Highly recommend this place!
Everything was perfect. We were 10 minutes away from Glacier National park and within walking distance of huckleberry milkshakes at The Huckleberry Patch. It was nice hanging out on the back porch, and in the hot tub after a day of hiking.
