Stony Broke Ranch private retreat, eight miles from Glacier

Our rental is a one level beautiful home, at the base of Desert Mountain, on a family ranch, established in 1955. Abbott creek flows through our ranch, and is filled with tiny brook trout. Our private location is three miles from Hungry Horse Reservoir, and eight miles from the Glacier National Park entrance.
We are nestled off of Spotted Bear Road, a quiet, and gorgeous setting on twenty two, private acres, with national forests hugging our property. Very private home, with endless natural surroundings.
Our floor plan is open, with a spacious professional kitchen, and large, comfortable living room. Twenty three foot ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows, to bring the outdoors in.
Walking, hiking, riding, and all wonderful outdoor activities await.
Horses, and many other wild, and native animals, give a great feel, and entertainment. We are proud to share our family ranch with you, your friends and family.
THIS HOME IS CLEANED BY THE OWNER.
CLEANLINESS IS OF TOP PRIORITY.
Additional cleaning supplies will be provided, for the use of our guests, for additional peace of mind.
We understand our guests want to feel safe, and comfortable in their home away from home.

The house is immaculate. Clean and very well appointed. Melissa is very generous from eggs in the fridge to popcorn in the pantry. Everything is labeled and easy to find. The house has many scented candles, soaps and fabric softeners. If this is a problem for anyone in your group it may not be the right rental for you or you may want to contact Melissa before you book. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful area near Glacier National Park.

Everything was superb. The home was beautiful, and the location unbeatable. Unlike most VRBO’s I’ve stayed at, this home felt loved and not sterile. Melissa thought of everything with lots of little perks that make it feel just like home. Only 14 minutes to West Glacier entrance. Hosts communicated whenever needed. Thank you Melissa and Beau!

Fantastic property close to Glacier National Park!

This property was exactly as advertised with every amenity imaginable. Great location! Comfortable beds, great kitchen and pantry. The fire pit down by the creek was so relaxing and enjoyable. Hope to be able to stay here again!

AWESOME

This house is AWESOME!!! The hosts have made this house a "snuggle in and be comfortable and feel welcome home ". I cant say enough about how warm, welcoming, and stocked with all kinds of helpful little items. My husband and I truly enjoyed staying here.

Wonderful Base Camp in Glacier

Excellent experience. This property is beautiful inside and out, with all the amenities and extra touches that make this a perfect base camp for a family adventure. We loved the King Sized beds, the spacious and well stocked kitchen, and the fire pit by a quiet creek for s’mores. Great place to rest after days of hiking and time on the lake.

Fantastic space located just outside of Glacier!

We had the best stay. My now wife and I stayed here to be close to an adjacent property where we were getting married. We could not have asked for a better home to be in during the build-up to our big day. The host was very communicative and was able to make us feel right at home. We would absolutely stay here again when we visit for our anniversary.

Terrific house and host

Excellent place; house was spotless and very comfortable. Easy drive to Glacier but away from the crowds. Host was very easy to communicate with. We saw deer or elk from windows every day. Kitchen was good and well supplied.

Perfect location!

Fantastic property! This home was just wonderful. Melissa thought of everything we needed & more. The location was great & really made us feel welcome & comfortable. There were grocery stores & other places to pick up things very close by. The beds & bathrooms were clean & beautiful. We still can’t get over the kitchen & the amenities included in it. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and wonderful host

The property was very clean and the host thought of everything when setting up this property. We saw deer in the backyard. We were less than 10 minutes from the entrance of Glacier National Park. There are several really good restaurants within 2-10min away! The bed is super comfortable and the host was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Loved it

Clean, great location to anything you’d want to get to, great layout of home with furniture and beds you actually want to sit and sleep on. The kitchen is very open and completely stocked, makes it very easy for cooking meals or doing quick meals on the go. All of this makes it easy with children. Will absolutely come back, and I have to mention the cleanliness one more time. Finally, the hosts are incredibly nice and accommodating, really makes the whole stay as great as it is.

Amazing Home & Host

My wife and I booked the Stoney Brook Ranch for a long weekend with my parents. It was truly an unbelievable experience for us all. Melissa was incredibly helpful and the home had every amenity we needed. It was the perfect location for us to get to Whitefish and to Glacier National Park for our adventures. We loved the peaceful setting of the home - as well as the hospitality of our host. We will cherish the memories we made here forever.

Property was beautiful and more than what was represented. There wasn’t anything that you could have needed that wasn’t in the kitchen. The location was ideal for visiting Glacier National Park. The hosts were extremely helpful, available and considerate. We were sad to leave, and sure we will be back.

AMAZING Home!

Our stay at this custom home in West Glacier was absolutely incredible! Every detail was carefully thought out, and everything we could possibly need was readily available and easy to find. Melissa truly doesn’t skip a beat in ensuring her guests have everything they need for a perfect stay. The home is beautifully decorated with a flawless layout, and the location was so perfect to access the West Glacier entrance. The bathroom products were a great touch, and the beds were so very comfortable. We also loved the gas grill and had a blast soaking in the hot tub while stargazing. My husband described the home as 'baller,' and we definitely loved every bit of our stay. We’d recommend it to anyone and can’t wait to return. Thanks for having us!

Perfection

Stony Broke Ranch was amazing as was our host, Melissa. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Melissa provided many little extras (craft soaps!), including every kitchen amenity you could imagine. It was such a pleasure to come back to the house after adventuring in the park all day, to grill trout dinners, watch the sunset and wait for the stars to light up the amazingly dark skies above. We have stayed in many rental properties over the years and Stony Broke Ranch is definitely one of our favorites.

AMAZING!!

We stayed for 7 days with our son and daughter in law to hike GNP --- Melissa, Beau and Family were so friendly and communicating with them was so easy. Their home is absolutely AMAZING!! it was so clean, well laid out and stocked with everything we needed. It's so incredibly beautiful!! All cabinets are marked so you are not searching for what you are looking for. The tall windows in the living room are awesome as you can watch the night sky with all the bright stars. One of our favorite stays yet

Melissa and Beau’s property is so stunning. Tucked away on a quiet piece of land you are surrounded by natural beauty. The garden is lovely and you can watch the sun rise and set and it is just stunning and so peaceful. In 15 minutes you are at the entrance to the park. We loved the location and setting. But the house inside is the real winner. Beautifully appointed. Unbelievably well stocked this home had everything we could have asked for on this trip. We prepared most of our meals here. Enjoyed the grill and hot tub. Loved the large windows in the family room allowing us to enjoy nature even when we were inside. Melissa and Beau were wonderful to work with and very responsive. We could not recommend a Vrbo more enthusiastically than this property.

Truly PERFECTION in every way!!!

Stoney Brook Ranch is absolute perfection! I could right a book on this place and how Melissa and her family thought of EVERYTHING! We stayed here with our teen boys and one set of grandparents while visiting Glacier National Park located about 10 minutes away. We were first taken by the property. It is a beautiful setting and the grounds are gorgeous and perfectly kept. The horses, creek and fire pit brought us lots of enjoyment as well as enjoying wine in the Adirondack chairs before dinner. The home itself truly AMAZING in every way. It is so beautifully decorated it could be in a magazine! The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and stocked with anything you could possibly need. The kitchen is truly a chef's kitchen filled with top of the line cooking tools and as an added and helpful bonus, each drawer and cabinet is labeled. The pantry is stocked with staples like coffee, spices, oils, flour and sugar....And the best part is they also had a few snacks and all the ingredients for S'mores!!! The sitting area had super comfortable chairs and couches and had the most amazing view of the stunning mountains. Communication with Melissa was timely, accurate and informative. But the absolute best part of the whole trip was meeting Melissa. She is truly lovely and we enjoyed talking with her about the area and the history of the property. We will definitely be back and plan to stay in touch with her (and hope she will come decorate our home :o))
