About this property
Brand New Hot Tub - 25min from Ski/Whitefish - Central Location- Gorgeous Views
-Enjoy this amazing, new construction, mountain modern home, with gorgeous views from every room. Relax in the new, private hot tub! Secluded, wooded location just off of the North Fork Road, a scenic corridor with access to several areas of the majestic, incomparable Glacier National Park! The house is conveniently located 5 miles from Columbia Falls, and only 20 minutes from the beautiful mountain town of Whitefish.
-Listed rates only apply to the upper level of this home, which sleeps six people. The lower level condo is also available for an additional fee of $50 per guest per night (with a minimum of $150 per night). The entire unit (upper and lower) sleeps 10 - 12 guests.
-The lower level has separate access, and includes one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room, washer / dryer, and kitchen. The bedroom contains a bunkbed, with a full bed on bottom, twin bed on top. There is also a twin trundle bed that pulls out from under the full bed. The living room has a new, very comfortable queen sofa sleeper.
-The lower level allows for up to six additional guests, but please note that it would be most comfortable for a couple adults with several kids. The lower level will not be rented out to a different guest / group while you are staying upstairs, nor can it be rented out by itself.
Dancing Bear Haus has three exterior cameras: one is by the gate at the entrance of the property; one is mounted above the garage door, pointing at the garage pad and up the driveway; the third camera is between the upper road and house, pointing at the back side of the house. There are no surveillance devices inside either level of the home. These exterior cameras are for security; however, we love to watch the wildlife that walks by as well.

About the host
Hosted by Trevor Hull
A few years ago, our son Trevor moved to Columbia Falls from Arkansas. We fell in love with northwest Montana and visit as often as possible. We love skiing, hiking, and exploring this beautiful part of our country. We'll never get used to the unbelievably gorgeous views from the top of Whitefish Mountain and Going to the Sun road!
Why they chose this property
We decided to build a home that we could use when visiting, as well as share with family, friends, and other travelers. This mountain modern home is so lovely, no matter what the season, and is located just off of the North Fork road right in the middle of everything: 15 - 20 minutes from the Kalispell airport, 5 to 10 minutes from groceries in Columbia Falls, 20 to 30 minutes from Whitefish to the west, and about 30 minutes from various Glacier National Park entrances to the east.
What makes this property unique
Upon purchasing the property and beginning construction, we mounted a camera in the meadow below the home site, and caught a cute little guy roaming around and apparently chasing a butterfly....thus the name Dancing Bear Haus. You can see him in the listing photos. :)
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Respect all wildlife and keep your distance. They are dangerous and do not expect us to be in their world. Various types of bears, mountain lions, etc. are undoubtedly nearby, as we are in a national forest and just outside of Glacier National Park.
