Beautiful apartment , looks exactly as it does in the pictures , modern and trendy decor , everything was very comfortable and clean. We didn’t realize there’s actually also a water closet on top of the main bathroom , so it’s a 1.5 bath .Great neighborhood, tons of amazing food and drink options around , the apartment faces onto a street with a few lively bars , but the shutters in the bedroom were solid and killed most of the noise so we were still able to sleep well. Basically great location , spacious and beautiful apartment , good host.

Excellent value for money and great location in the city centre. Just a few minutes walk from the AirPort Express bus stop, with so much to see and do nearby. Great communication from the host too and would stay again if I returned to Budapest.

This was an amazing apartment for our 4 days in Budapest. Mark was very accommodating and checked in with us over the app to ensure our trip was going well. Easy check in process and he even let us drop off our luggage early so we could get to our tour on time. We will definitely be staying here on our return to Budapest. Very clean apartment and close to everything on the Pest side. Perfect stay for our family of 4.

The apartment was spacious and clean. It is very close to good places to eat There was some noise from people leaving nearby bars and restaurants late in the night, but it wasn’t a significant problem for us. I would stay here if I am in Budapest again.

Great location and well outfitted

My family stayed three nights in this place. It is a downtown flat without much scenery outside, and it is on a busy street. However we loved staying there, street noise was not a problem, and the owner not only made check in and out straightforward but offered a number of great suggestions of activities.

The property is a great location with very good access to the excellent public transportation system in Budapest. Even though the property was in a very popular entertainment area, the windows and shutters kept out the noise. The response from the owner to our requests and questions was prompt and his English is excellent. Do not be turned off by the entrance to the classic Budapest apartment building. The renovation of the property was beyond our wildest expectations. There are numerous restaurants and shops nearby as well as 2 grocery stores within a block. My Hungarian wife that was born and raised in Budapest loved the property. We will definitely stay there in our future Budapest trips.

The property is super clean with both a bathroom and a second toilet. The host is brilliant. Facilities are good with automatic black out shutters (at the press of a button) and air conditioning (an essential in stuffy, humid Budapest summers). The only thing I would clarify in the listing is it's not strictly two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is an albeit huge lounge with sofa bed. While the property was great, I specifically was looking for a listing with two bedrooms. However, that all said, the cleanliness was superb, the price was really reasonable, it was just a bit difficult to socialise in the evening as a family without feeling like I was doing so and not giving my teenage son his personal space. It would be a brilliant place to stay for a couple.

Das Apartment ist sehr schön. Alles ist so, wie auf den Bildern! Es war sauber und alles, was man für einen Städtetrip braucht, ist da. Wir hatten 4 Nächte gebucht und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das jüdische Viertel ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt, super an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr angebunden. Wir waren unter der Woche im Apartment (So-Do). Ich denke, dass es am Wochenende dort recht laut werden kann. Wir haben aber gut geschlafen, es war ruhig. Mark ist ein toller Vermieter, immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Sollte wir Budapest mal wieder besuchen wollen, dann würden wir wieder hier buchen!

My dad and I had a wonderful two week stay at Mark’s Guest House! The apartment was very clean and bright when we arrived, just as described. The kitchen was decently stocked with dishes and cutlery, and the closets had extra towels and bedding if needed. The bedroom and living room overlook one of the lively pub/club streets in the Jewish district, so people can often be heard partying late into the night — but we loved this! It brought a fun and exciting atmosphere to our stay, and we were just down the street from KARAVÁN, a fabulous open-air, multi-business food court. Bring ear plugs or a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper, but I had no trouble getting a good night’s rest! Great location: not located on a busy/traffic-heavy street, however easy walking distance to trams and metro etc. and SPAR (grocery) very close by.See the Jewish Ghetto memorial, piece of the Berlin Wall, Shoes on the Danube, Buda Castle and Caves, the beautiful bridges, and tons more to explore in the area!! We both purchased transit passes on the BudapestGO app, and used this to get around the city on the trams, buses and metro. Super fast and easy! Highly recommend Mark’s Guest House. Thanks for making our stay great!!

We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again! Check in was easy and communication with the host was great. The building had excellent security, we felt very safe. The elevator was so convenient carrying our suitcases upstairs. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, spotless and comfortable. It was well stocked, and lacked absolutely nothing. Perfect location - walkable and close to airport shuttle E100, near metro and all public transit, we were able to explore the city without a car. Overall, we had an amazing stay, and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Budapest.

Die Wohnung war sauber und sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Nachts war zwar viel los in der angrenzenden Partymeile, was bei geöffnetem Fenster natürlich hörbar war, aber im Haus selbst war es wirklich ruhig. Alles in allem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt.
