On Lake Charlevoix with Panoramic Views!

A perfect private getaway, sleeps 5 adults comfortably plus sofa bed, great for a family or 2 couples with kids. Our home has panoramic views from a large deck overlooking Lake Charlevoix and a charming covered porch with lots of comfortable seating. The large rooftop deck is just steps out the front door, with plenty of seating, and a tiki bar and palm tree! The view from the house, porch, and deck are unbelievable! You can tie your boat to the mooring ball at the end of the dock or bring or rent kayaks to explore the lake. There are nearby boat rentals with paddleboards, kayaks, jet skis, pontoon and ski boats. It is a five minute drive or bike ride to downtown Boyne City, a premier Main Street Community, where you can enjoy the many small town festivities, concerts, farmers market, restaurants, or Stroll the Streets on Friday nights. Drive 6 miles to Boyne Mountain resort and spa, with world class golf, water park, and skiing, or just 45 minutes to catch the ferry to Mackinaw Island for the day, or check out the historic and quaint Ironton Ferry, just 7 miles down the lake and a shortcut to the beautiful town of Charlevoix! This family cottage is complete with all the comforts and conveniences you will need, a well-stocked kitchen with everything required for cooking and dining as well as a gas grill and patio tables for barbecuing. There are 2 large bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other has a queen bed and a twin bed with a private half bath. There is a full bath between the 2 bedrooms with a large walk-in shower and lots of vanity space and storage. The living room has plenty of seating with amazing views of the lake, the dining table seats 6, and there is a sun/family room with an extra table and seating area, and a queen size sofa bed. The kitchen, dining room and sun room also have unbelievable views of Lake Charlevoix. There is a washer and drier and we provide plenty of linens and towels, and paper products to start you out. If you rent for ski season, keep your car warm and dry in our attached 2 car garage, with lots of room for skis, boots, and equipment. We are only 15 minutes from Boyne Mountain, and minutes away from several cross country ski trails. All you need are your clothes and food for a week of relaxation and fun, or a season of skiing!

Exceptional views of beautiful Lake Charlevoix with a fun tiki bar on the rooftop deck. We stayed late July and loved that we could cross the road and jump in the lake. The pink house is conveniently located close to downtown Boyne City restaurants and the local Farmer’s Market in Veterans Park. Close to other area favorites like Harbor Springs and Charlevoix.

Wonderful Property with Excellent Lake View

We enjoyed our stay for a long weekend. Great house and great location. Clean, well maintained and well stocked. Comfortable and homey feel to house. Located on Lake Charlevoix in the Boyne City, Charlevoix and Petoskey triangle which made for easy access to those areas. Communication with owner was excellent.

Great vacation with great views!

This was a great property. What you see in the pictures is what you get. I mean that in a good way. This was perfect for my mother and I. My mom being elderly could get around without issues. The home was clean and had every amenity that you could think of. Barb was available if you needed to contact her. Very relaxing and how we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and views from the porch and the tiki bar area. We can’t wait to return. Thank you again for a wonderful and memorable stay for my mother and I. 😊

Beautiful place! Exactly what it shows on the site. Beautiful sunsets on the water from the tiki bar and porch to drink morning drinks on. Close to town if do need to head that direction

fantastic getaway....great lake view

the check in process was very easy, as Barb reached out to me days before hand to go over the details. House just as pictured and very clean. Living, dining and kitchen all provide great views of the lake, with beautiful front porch for morning coffee and wine in evenings. We will certainly consider staying in the Pink House on our next visit to Northern Michigan

Boyne city weekend

Fabulous property!……so close to everything but still an isolated feeling with mature landscaping. Inside felt so comfortable and homey it was perfect for ending the day playing games and sitting in front porch to watch the sun set …….and rise again .

Beautiful House with Stunning Views

The Pink House is a great place to stay. It is very clean, spacious, well decorated and the kitchen is well stocked for all of your cooking needs. The house is conveniently located in a nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the stunning views from the house as well as the deck over the garage.

Pink House Getaway

The cottage was everything we expected and more. It was well equipped and thoughtfully organized, the owners thought of everything we might need or want to know. They are super responsive and ready to help if needed. The location was perfect for all we wanted to do, close to biking, hiking, kayaking and right on the lake. The perfect place for 2 couples to relax at the cottage or explore the area. One place we would happily revisit.

The "Pink House" was perfect for us. It was a great location for the places we wanted to go. Everything and everyplace we go in that area of Michigan is clean and well maintained. Very friendly people and I would like to include the young people, who are polite and respectful.

Awesome cottage

We had a great time at this house on the lake. We came up for a long weekend to ski and always enjoyed heading back to the pink house to relax. It had everything we needed, shampoos, soap, and washer dryer, big garage, comfortable beds and great sheets, tv, WiFi, and most of all it’s homey, warm and comfortable. No dishwasher, but I’ll tell you what: you get to stare at the lake when you wash them. This would be even better in the summer, I can imagine. Pick it- stay here, you’ll enjoy it. One of the best rentals we’ve stayed at.

Wonderful stay

The house is very clean, very well organized, very well stocked and actually felt larger than it appeared online. The two car garage is a great asset, especially for a winter stay. The homeowners are very easy to work with, very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: we were up for a 5 day ski trip. We all looked forward to getting back to this cozy home after a day on the slopes, to relax with a nice hot chocolate. I love cooking and I was very pleased by the range of cookware and utensils in the kitchen: I effortlessly cooked for 6 every day. We definitely will be back.

What an amazing place!

This home has it all - cleanliness, location, great for winter and summer, family space, attached garage. We had a fabulous time at the Pink House and hope to make this an annual tradition. Communication was awesome and we have not a single complaint (and I had teenagers with me!)

Great view

This rental has a great view of Lake Charlevoix from the living room, kitchen, dining area and family room. Location is good for driving around the northern peninsula. The house was very clean and very well stocked. We would stay here again when we visit the area.

Fall color tour

We enjoyed our stay and the surrounding areas. The beds in the one room are a bit on the hard side which made sleeping difficult. The amount of space in the cottage is excellent.

We live and work in Boyne City year round, and moved here several years ago because we love the area & enjoy boating, golfing, and skiing. We actually met while skiing at Boyne, and were married at the top of Aspen Mountain 10 years ago. We only live 4 miles away, on the other side of the lake, so we are always available for any questions or information about the area. We love Boyne City and Lake Charlevoix and there is no place else on earth we would choose to live!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this house in Sept of 2012. Known as the 'pink house', it is a landmark for local boaters and fishermen, so we have decided to keep it's unique color. It was a well-loved and maintained home so we have only had minimal sprucing up, painting and decorating to do. As we are both do-it-yourselves, this has been a fun project that we both enjoy. We recently worked on some fun additions to the large deck, including a tiki bar and a palm tree! We would like this to be the kind of place we would pick ourselves for a vacation away from home.
