Don’t stay here. We arrived and the code to get in the lock box was wrong. After 2 hours of trying to get in contact with the host, we could only talk to representatives who knew as much as we did. The place looked dirty from the windows and all of the cabinets were wide open in the kitchen (??). The rental company ended up putting us in a different place which was nice, but we got in late and we were extremely frustrated. Just don’t even bother trying with this place.

We’re very sorry for the issues you experienced upon arrival, including the incorrect lockbox code and the delay in assistance. While we’re sorry relocation was necessary, we’re glad we were able to move you to a home you enjoyed. Your feedback has been shared internally to help prevent a similar experience in the future, and we hope to welcome you back for a smoother stay.
Arrived at our unit at check in time to find the driveway completely plowed in. Contacted the host and was told there was a shovel by the door. My 63 year old husband with a heart condition had to shovel out a 3 foot snow bank. Upon entry, observed an overflowing is trash can on patio from prior stay(s), and when entering the unit, discovered both exterior doors had no locking mechanism from the inside. Unit is very dated, in poor repair and a very poor value for money.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
we got there at about past midnight, the driveway wasn’t plowed or salted at all and we couldn’t get up to the actual house. we tried calling vrbo (terrible customer service, and absolutely no help. they just kept saying “did you see if there was a shovel?”) there was no shovel by the way so we had to trek our things up in -15f degree weather. i asked if we could get the information of the people who owned/operated the house and was told i wasn’t allowed (unlike others where they connect you directly). then the lockbox didn’t work for 30 minutes (again, it was -15f) and there was a second lockbox but it was buried under ice and snow. eventually we got the lockbox open, and the house itself was ok but a bit dirty. the couch sleeps right under the ac/heater which means we were getting blasted in the face and people couldn’t sleep. there’s a reason this place is listed on a bunch of sites with “no reviews” because the reviews on google are really awful for a reason!!

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the difficult arrival experience, especially given the extreme weather conditions. Snow removal is scheduled prior to guest arrivals, but severe or rapidly changing conditions can sometimes impact timing, and we are reviewing this with our team. We’re also addressing the lockbox access, cleanliness, and comfort concerns you mentioned. We regret the inconvenience and appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention so we can improve future guest experiences.
