Tucked away in the attic of a beautifully preserved early-1900’s house, the Historic Brick Loft offers a cozy, secluded retreat with elevated views and historic charm. Steps from Yollah, Oliver’s Bistro, and the iconic H&H Restaurant.

Before booking, please note that this charming attic-level loft is accessible by the original steep steps of our historic home. Handrails and added lighting help ensure a safe walk up the stairs.

This is a really cool stay. It reminded me of my first college apartment. Loved it. It’s quiet, spacious for 1 or 2 people. I’d stay here again for sure! It’s clean, cozy, stylish, and has everything I needed. It’s 2 doors down from Yollah Restaurant which has great food and cocktails.

We really enjoyed staying in this property. Love the location and the wonderful restaurant a few doors down. The hosts are always very communicative and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

We really loved the space initially! It's very clean, quiet, and parking is close. We were shocked by the amount of stairs you have to climb in order to get to the loft and they are very narrow. If you have bad knees, you'd definitely have an issue getting up these stairs. Our real issue was that the AC comes out of 2 mini splits, no central HVAC system. It was 93 degrees in Macon on Saturday, we got back from a wedding at 11:45pm. The loft was 78 degrees. We packed up and drove home that evening and got home at 2:00 am. I would not recommend staying here in the summertime if the company is not going to install a more robust system. Being hot is not negotiable when you're paying to stay somewhere.

The listing description and photos clearly show that the staircase is steep and provide guests with the information needed to determine whether the property is a good fit for their needs. We were not notified of any temperature concerns until after departure. Upon inspection, the system was found to be turned off. We have not had any issues with the system maintaining a comfortable temperature during the summer months. Had we been contacted during the stay, we would have been happy to assist.
