The area was nice and central. The space was very authentic and Mexican. The beds were comfortable. There was a bit of a delay in the initial contact and getting instructions to access the space, however in the end it worked out well.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
The home was gorgeous and charming, and we loved it. The beds were also comfortable, and the location is perfect. The issue was that the fridge was not working our entire stay, so we had no place to keep any food. We notified the management company, but they did not take any action to fix it during our stay. There were also limited bath towels (only 1 per person) and no bath mats, which would be nice to keep the floor dry in the bathrooms after leaving the shower. We really liked this place, but it was lacking a few basics that would have made it a more comfortable stay, and no working fridge for a 5-day stay is not acceptable. We are still waiting for a response.
While the property appears appealing in photos, our experience throughout the stay was very different. The location is ideal but the condition of the house and lack of basic services overshadowed everything else. The house was not clean upon arrival. There were dead cockroaches in the bedrooms, food left behind from previous guests (like hamburger buns), cups with toothpaste residue and mold, dirty dishes, clogged sinks, and overall poor cleanliness. We experienced two separate periods with no running water, during which we could not shower, wash clothes, or flush toilets. We had to use buckets of water from the pool to flush the toilets.Hot water was available for only one day of our 7-day / 6-night stay. For the remainder of the stay, there was no hot water, despite prior assurances (given before booking in response to a previous guest complaint) that the issue had been resolved. After multiple technician visits, it was revealed this was due to no gas in the house. The pool was described as functioning; however, there was no water circulation or filtration, leaving it stagnant and unusable.Despite repeated visits from the local caretakers, the issues were never resolved. A large portion of our stay was spent dealing with maintenance and people coming in and out of the house, defeating the purpose of relaxing vacation. This property did not meet basic standards for a habitable vacation rental, especially one marketed and priced as a luxury property.
