We booked this house for ten people. Upon arrival on our check in date, we went to the main resident gate and were directed to a back gate with a keypad. The home had a lockbox with one key. Upon entering the home, the back sliding door was open. There were ants in every bedroom, including in the bed linens. We also found smoking paraphernalia inside the bed linens. The kitchen was lacking to say the least and we went to Goodwill to purchase cooking supplies. Not enough towels to support 10 people. No check out instructions. Host is stating that kitchen supplies are were taken and glasses were broken when we asked for a partial refund due to the problems that weren’t addressed. We did not take or break anything. When I texted for issues, they didn’t even know what house I was referring to. The overall house space is great but the host needs to improve the space to properly support guests. Lots of potential in the space but perhaps the host is new to this and needs time to improve.
