Summary:
Wonderful downtown historic Salt Lake City home! Newly updated with new furniture, this is your perfect SLC getaway! Locate near many amenities downtown has to offer including the convention centers, shops and restaurants. Visiting in the winter? We are very accessible to all major ski resorts in Utah, with them being up to 30 minutes away.

The Space:
This two- level home is a great home base for your Utah getaway!

Relax in the living room after a day exploring downtown or in the Utah wilderness. New flat screen Smart TV equipped with Direct TV, including the NFL Sunday Ticket. Using the smart tv option, sign into your Netflix or Hulu account to catch up on your favorite shows!

Prepare a home cooked meal in the remodeled kitchen, complete with new stainless steel appliances. Stocked with essential cookware and dishes. Enjoy your home cooked meal at the large dining table together!

The second level includes a common living space with a private deck off the living space. All the bedrooms are located in the upper level of the home. In the master bedroom a spacious and comfortable king bed. In the two additional bedrooms are two new queen beds.

There is a remodeled full bathroom and half bathroom to comfortably accommodate guests.

Enjoy the best of both worlds by staying in the heart of downtown but only minutes away from Utah's beautiful nature play land!

Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, you are walking distance or a short Uber ride to the best shops, restaurants and bars in town! Grab breakfast at Even Steven's, walking distance from the home. In the mood for seafood? Head over to Current Fish and Oysters, the oysters are fresh and the chowder is delish!

About 30 minutes takes you to Park City/Canyons, Alta, Brighton, Snow Bird, and Solitude as well as mountain biking, hiking, camping, and fishing locations.

Getting Around:
15 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.

There are bus stops and TRAX stations within a few blocks.

Uber is also a great way to get around the city.

Close to Highways 80 and 15.

Street parking only with 2-hour restrictions during the day
Property has tenants in the basement. Completely separate from the main house

Finishing a project in SLC, projects always slip on timeline, they were able to accomedate an extended stay. They are very responsive. The unit comes very clean, comfortable, and in an awesome location to SLC at a good price. Strong wifi.

Fine property in SLC

Convenient location, clean beds and rooms. We only found street parking with a 2-hr restriction from 8am-6pm around the property, but that was less of an inconvenience than we thought. There were perishables left in the fridge and used soap bars in the bathroom, which I thought peculiar, but then again we don’t use VRBO type rentals often, so maybe it’s considered a courtesy? All in all, a fine place to stay at when visiting SLC.

Lots of space!

Linens were super soft Updated bathroom was great Lots of space in home, very centrally located. Very few utensils and one kitchen towel for entire stay. Plenty of bath towels. Very clearly a home where cats lived longterm, the smell is very forward Great to have climate control on both floors No tv in primary and one other bedroom, 3rd bedroom had a tv.

Parking was a problem

We loved the property, the house was great, loved the wood floors. No cooking pans that we found. Parking was across the street or around the corner. We parked across the street and someone stole all 3 wiper blades from our vehicle. Not a big deal, they all needed replacing. The construction people down the block took most of the parking during the day. All that negative said, the house was wonderful.

Super close to lots of fun stuff. House had character and worked well for our family of 6. Nice and warm.

Roaches, homeless and unhelpful host

When we arrived there were dead roaches in the floor, insects in the bed, holes in the floor where more roaches came out of. Our second day, we woke up to a screaming homeless person, later that day the same homeless person made a tent in the yard of the house, when I reached out to the host, I was told to "feel free to call the police", the homeless person had weapons. Our safety was never a concern to the hosts. I do not recommend this listing to anyone

Run down house that feels like student housing

This place is located in an iffy neighborhood and features 2yard filled with 2 ft tall weeds, cracked and uneven walkway that incurs stumbles, front door with peeling paint. The first impression is fairly well carried throughout. The home is set for 6 persons with 3 bedrooms however the living room only features 1 couch ( stained) and one hard molded plastic chair making it uncomfortable and unworkable as a gathering spot. All the tables, side, cocktail and dining have numerous chips, stains, watermarks and chopped finishes. Frankly we couldn’t wait to leave. The keyless entry internal light is so dim that it’s completely unreadable at night making returning home and gaining entry extremely difficult, even when shining a locket flashlight in it. Tv remote control Needs new batteries.

The house is a historic house with a lot of character and upgrades. The house was well stocked and really convenient to downtown shops and dining.. and only 30 minutes from major skiing.. my family and I would definitely stay there again…

Girls weekend in SLC

The house is exactly as described and fit our needs perfectly. The floors are considerably creaky and the lack of parking was mildly annoying. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of soft towels and linens provided. The house was well equipped so that we did not need to purchase basic needs like toilet paper, paper towels, etc. We had a great weekend and would stay here again!

Lovely house in great location

Lovely house, well appointed, and very walkable location. Management company was great to work with, beds were super comfy and everything was easy. Definitely would visit this house again or recommend to others.
