This clean, cozy little getaway sits on a hill overlooking the lake. It boasts panoramic views from almost every room in the house, & if you open the windows at night, you might hear the waves.

It would make a great home base for adventures such as fishing, boating, hiking, wine tasting, etc. Travel less than one minute by car (5 on foot), & you'll find a park, a public beach, & a free boat launch. Or, you can stay home & BBQ on the deck.

Clearlake Oaks is a small, rural town, and this cottage is located near its heart, with restaurants, coffee, & shopping within easy walking distance.

Great spot! My wife and I had a great weekend on Clearlake and this home was a perfect base. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner, and the deck had a gorgeous view of the lake. Communication was great, just an fyi that if you book through Expedia, the message from host will only come through Vrbo. I was able to reach out no problem and the host was very prompt and communicative. We’ll be back.

Location was good, nice view, but I didn’t realize highway 20 was just 40 yards below the deck, thus somewhat noisy outside. The host was wonderful, very responsive and accommodating, couldn’t ask for more. There was some dirt on blinds and window sills, but not bad. The neighborhood was ok, a few abandoned homes down the road, but nice homes surrounding the house. Overall a good stay, we went to Blue Lakes lodge to swim the next day, nice…

Inside of house is ok but the first thing that you see is the outside and it is a little bit forgotten, there are spider webs everywhere like no one ever worries about that. Also there is a bad smell inside the house.
