What a wonderful home, the nicest my family has ever stayed in. There are plenty of areas for a large group to gather together, but also to spread out and enjoy different activities. The house is comfortable and stocked with all of the essentials (we appreciated that the laundry products were unscented for sensitive skin). The salt-water pool is beautiful and large. The game room and exercise area were a real hit with both the kids and adults. We enjoyed visiting nearby Greenville and had a day-trip in Asheville. Doug was very responsive to answer questions.

This home was absolutely amazing! It has everything you need- ample kitchen supplies, so many fun games, heated pool and hot tub, full coffee bar, plenty of beds and baths. Highly recommend!

This hideaway gem was every thing that was advertised. We had a bit of an issue with the suana which was totally operator error and we were quickly guided on how to operate it. i would certainly recommend the property to anyone that wanted an entertaining stay.

This was an amazing place to stay with the family! Tons of games for the children AND adults, pool was heated so even on the cloudy days we were able to enjoy it, and the jacuzzi and sauna were great additions. Host also responded quickly and check-in/out was easy. Definitely recommend this location! We will be booking again next year for sure!

We had honestly intended to go out more than be at the house, but the property was so nice that we spent a lot of evenings there. The outdoor amenities were awesome! We spent most of our time downstairs with all of the games. The rooms and basement were very spacious. Check in was very easy as well as check out. I would recommend to anyone needing a space for multiple people to stay!

We spent a week at the house. It was wonderful. Our family of 6 adults and 3 children enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna, and all the other activities that were provided at the house. The pool was so nice for the age of our grandchildren (ages 1, 2 and 3 years). We cooked a number of our meals at the house and found the kitchen well equipped. The host was very attentive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this home for your vacation.

What a wonderful stay! This home was everything we hoped for and more. It was comfortably furnished, exceptionally well-stocked, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared for guests.There was truly something for everyone and every age. With the pool, hot tub, game room, outdoor spaces, and so many activities right on the property, there was always something to enjoy without ever needing to leave. The beautiful sunporch overlooking the pool was a big hit!We especially appreciated the overall layout. There were wonderful spaces for everyone to gather and enjoy time together AND plenty of places to slip away to relax and enjoy some quiet time alone. We were also so happy that our dog was able to be a part of the weekend with us which was very special.We chose this property for a very special family weekend, and everyone in our group raved about the home and all that it offered. It was clear that the Doug took great care with creating a welcoming experience for guests. He provided the perfect setting for making lifelong memories that we will treasure. For families or groups looking for a beautiful and comfortable home with something for everyone, I would absolutely recommend this home!Doug, thank you for a wonderful stay! We would happily return.

Family Visit

The Brickhouse was perfect for our family of 9 adults and 3 toddlers. It is every bit as beautiful as the photos portray. The unit is well appointed and organized. The location was equal distance between Greenville and our family in Lyman. I feel fortunate to have found this beautiful house to rent.

Brick House

Overall, it was great. Plenty of room in the brick house for five families. Including seven kids. The place was very clean and had all the accessories you needed for cooking. I recommend giving this a try if you have a lot of kids game room was a hit along with the pool.!!!Thanks again we will be back next year!

Home away from home

While the photos are accurate, they don’t capture how lovely this house is. The owner has thought of everything, and spared no expense. We cooked multiple times every day, and did not lack any tools for the job. Plenty of room for the whole family and tons of entertainment. It was rainy and chilly for our entire stay, but we had so many things to do that it was no problem. This will be our preferred location to stay when we are in town visiting the kids again! All you need to bring is your groceries and your swim suit!

Incredible house!

This house was a perfect setup for our family reunion....4 rooms upstairs for the adults and then a bunk bed room downstairs for the kids. The house was large and spacious, everything was well stocked, and everything was VERY nice quality. The decor, even down to the tissue box print, was in good taste. Very welcoming, and the amenities kept everyone busy - the downstairs activity floor was amazing, the pool/hot tub/sauna were fantastic. Everything was easy to use. We had a great time. The only thing to note in case you're wondering is that they weren't flexible on check-in/check-out times. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a better house - would definitely recommend for large groups!

Our ladies group LOVED Brickhouse Hideaway. Every part of the main house was clean and spotless and more than accommodating. It exceeded our expectations. The seating areas more than met our needs in the house, around the pool and at the firepit where we enjoyed making s’mores. We loved the extra large kitchen table that seated our entire group for meals and games. Having a second refrigerator was also a need that was met. The supply of towels on hand was refreshing and appreciated. We even found and used the first aid kit for a needed bandaid. We enjoyed the games and numerous gathering areas downstairs, too. We certainly felt a five star experience. We will be back next year for sure. It was a pleasure to work with Doug.

Pictures do not do this place justice! Absolutely amazing! Stayed with friends and family for a college graduation celebration. Plenty of room for everyone (to never see each other, if wanted! Haha) Every bedroom was comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. Game room was massive and so much fun. Grilled burgers then sat by the pool and fire pit. Beautifully decorated home, and close to everything. If you are looking at this place and considering it… just book it!! You will be glad you did!!
