Or better yet, walk over to Southwest Greenway Park and take in the sounds and beauty of tranquil waterfalls. But Mueller is more than just parks! With a children's museum, a pub, a movie theater that serves food and drink during the movie, and a local grocery store all within 10 -25 minute's walk, everything's possible at Mueller!

My wife and I spent a week in this well appointed, attractive apartment. It was comfortable and met all our needs. In addition, the location was very convenient plus the easy walk to the Mueller park and shopping district, was an added attraction. We look forward to staying there again on our next visit to Austin.

Just what we needed!

This is a great property! Great neighborhood ... safe to walk. The owner provided a wonderful place for us to stay. He was very attentive and made sure all our needs were taken care of. A grocery store is nearby to pick up any snacks etc. Perfect for 2 people. The place was very clean and welcoming. You can’t go wrong with renting this property. A-plus!

Perfect place to stay in Mueller

My husband and I stayed in this garage apartment for one week. The communication with the owner was great...the apartment was clean and had everything you need for a home away from home. The location is great and easy to navigate to anywhere in the Austin area...We would highly recommend this apt to anyone. The only drawback is the steps up to the apt...if you have a disability where you can't walk steps, this would not be the place for you...We really enjoyed our stay!

Well-appointed apartment in an ideal location

The stay at this cottage beats any hotel! It is a perfectly-sized, over the garage apartment for one or two travelers and provides a full kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Angel has installed a door lock with a pass code that makes it nice not having to worry about a key. The neighborhood was quiet and family friendly; it boasted an amazing park directly across the street, around which my husband and I walked several times. The Mueller area of Austin truly is beautiful and incredibly convenient to all other parts of Austin. Mt Bonnell is a must see, particularly for a sunset, and definitely take note of the amazing houses you drive past getting there! While we never had reason to meet Angel during our stay, he was extremely responsive to questions and checked in with us via VRBO messages several times before and during our stay. He was also prompt crediting the refundable damage deposit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we travel back to the area.

Comfortable, clean, convenient!

This rental was great, it was me, my husband and 3 year old. This was in a very convenient location in a safe beautiful neighborhood close to everything. It was stocked with all the conveniences of home. It is across from a wonderful park with a small lake and playground. Walk to nice restaurants, shops,cinema and children's museum. The owner was very accessible if needed. Very private quiet place. I highly suggest it!

Outstanding.

Very comfortable place. Super clean with all the dishes and towels you could want. Excellent location. Close to Mueller shops and Airport Blvd. It would have been nice to have a TV in the living room/kitchen but certainly not a deal breaker. I’d stay here again in heartbeat.

Very nice, cozy little apartment

This is a clean, convenient, nicely-decorated for-two apartment above a garage. It has a full kitchen, queen bed, nice sized bathroom and a small sitting area. There's no TV in the sitting area but one in the bedroom that has a wide variety of local DTV channels. It's not really a place where you'll spend a ton of time because there's really not that much living space. But it's perfect as a home base for touristing around Austin. VERY convenient to the East side restaurants & bars, easy to get downtown, and a quick jump to I-35 We had a great time walking over to Mueller Park and shopping at the Sunday Farmer's Market and walking around the shops near there. There's a Alamo Drafthouse theater within walking distance also. Only nits we had was there were no coffee pods for the Keurig - would have to get our own, but the Thunderbird and Starbucks coffee shops are nearby, and that there was only one set of towels. Not a big deal, just a minor detail. Owner Angel was a great communicator and emailed a couple of times prior to our arrival. I appreciated that very much. Arrival and departure were totally seamless...get the lock code, arrive, leave the towels on the floor, lock the door when you leave. Easy. For the price and the location near Mueller park and the east side, it was really perfect for us as a couple. We would definitely use this Homeaway home again. Thanks to the owners!

Top-Notch

This is a small garage apartment, which was perfect for our needs. The proximity to Mueller Park was incredible... not even a full block away! Angel told us the place would be clean when we arrived, but we were shocked at how clean it was! We could have eaten off the floor if we wanted to. Angel contacted us prior to our arrival, was available during our stay, and was genuinely interested in our stay being perfect. The bed was very comfortable. Angel even left some waters in the fridge for us, and had some Keurig K-cups available for our use. We had a 1.5 year old, which was our only issue because the apartment is upstairs over the garage, and the stairway did not have a gate. However, Angel measured the width of the landing and was happy for us to bring our own baby gate, which we forgot to bring! However, there is a closet door that opens and blocks the majority of the stairway, and we were able to easily block the remaining portion. Still if you have a baby or toddler, plan to bring your own gate. Having such a small place also was great in that we had almost no "baby-proofing" to do. And it was easy to clean up as we left. Overall, if small works for you, you really can't beat this. We will be back!

Great Location, Great Amenties, Great Owners

This location was perfect for our stay. It was my wife, my two year-old and myself. I was at a business conference all weekend and my wife and little girl were within walking distance to parks, local eats and The Thinkary and went everyday. Angel and his wife were great with communication and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Stay here!

GREAT LOCATION; GOOD HOSTS

We stayed for a month at this small garage apartment which is in a great location for a visit in Austin. Centrally located, short drive to downtown. Close to public transportation. It is located inside the Mueller development, one of Austin's hottest places to be. Walk to hiking trails, lake, large playground, children's museum, restaurants, movie theater, bars. Only 1/2 mile from really great grocery store. The apartment has a full kitchen and small sitting area, with separate bedroom and bath. Very comfortable place to stay. The hosts are easy to reach and very responsive to a renter's needs. Highly recommended property.

Beautiful, quiet, and clean and in a great area!

Had a wonderful time, and it was made better by having a well maintained and managed vrbo. Minutes to University of Texas and downtown without the hassle of having to get on I-35. Mueller area has great walking trails and you can leave Austin without leaving Austin. Would stay again!

We understand what makes a great place to stay and we have put a lot of thought into getting our apartment ready for rental. In addition, you'll love our place because of the coziness, the location, the ease of access, and the cleanliness! You will also enjoy the quietness and peacefulness of our block, allowing for productivity, relaxation, rest, or a little of everything. We have a smart TV with local HD channels and a reliable and fast internet with strong signal throughout the entire apartment. Our place is good for college students, couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We hope you enjoy your stay!

What makes this property unique

Our property is just steps away from the main walking/biking trail that goes around the community. It runs just across the street from our property! We are also just one block from Mueller Lake Park, the main green space of the neighborhood where people go to unwind. In our full kitchen you can find just about any gadget needed to make most meals. Just bring the ingredients and you'll be make food for yourself in no time!
