The Space:

The thoughtful, well-appointed and personally engineered interior and exterior offer lots of space to relax and enjoy the mountain valley views of the surrounding area. The intricately designed full chef's kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, transitions seamlessly into a built-in dining area with a grand dining table that seats 10 (with additional breakfast bar seating) and living room with its high ceilings that give you the overwhelming sense of true comfort and luxury. The 4 spacious guest bedrooms are private; each with luxury king mattresses and linens to match; the master bedroom has a Tempurpedic king sized mattress and luxuriously sized bathroom with a large jacuzzi like tub accompanied by a classy but roomy stand-up shower. The 6th room is a bunk room with 6 bunk beds. The home has central heating to keep you and family warm in the winter!



In the sunroom, you have a pool table and downstairs a ping-pong table to get a few games going for you and your guests. Additionally, the home has a giant multi-leveled wraparound deck with breathtaking views, a jacuzzi that sits 4 comfortably, deck chairs to relax and enjoy time with family and friends.



Simply relax on the deck, or relax inside - either way, you're sure to relax in this beautiful and cozy home. If you're in the mood for activities and the outdoors, this home has access to the HOA for a fee per day and is centrally located to all points of interest. The back upper deck and BBQ are not available in the winter due to snow sliding off of the roof.

This is a beautiful home and close to many activities. We appreciated all the little extras in the home, including a pool table, board games, hot tub and bathrooms next to each bedroom. The host was very responsive and made the renting process seamless. We just wish there was more snow during our trip. Would rent here again.

The location is fantastic with an amazing view, but unfortunately the property has several issues. The kitchen was not clean and the cookware was all scratched (making it potentially unsafe). The beds were very uncomfortable throughout the property, and the master bed was so squeaky that family members preferred sleeping on the children's bunk beds instead. Overall, the bedding is poor quality, especially in the master bedroom. The property needs better cleaning and the kitchen equipment is outdated. Despite these drawbacks, the location and views make up for it somewhat.

Awesome property - beautiful views from the deck and we really enjoyed the amenities around the house. Hosts were generous with providing supplies to get started, like cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc. House was clean and neighborhood was quiet. Only complaint is the lock on the front door wasn't working, and the key provided did not open any of the other doors. This made getting in/out of the house tricky. The management company did call me to notify me of this ahead of time.

We were a family of 6 adults and 5 children under age 12, and the house was very accommodating. We did have an issue with lax cleaning from the previous occupants, but VRBO helped to make this right. Great location!

This property is a great place for larger groups to relax and have fun. Love the pool table room with views out of three sides. The kitchen and main room are roomy, comfortable hang-out spots. We felt the home is clean and well maintained. Would happily stay here again!

Surprise party

Overall a great stay. Plenty of room for all of our friends to enjoy the scenery. Got the best weekend some snow and then sunshine. The add says pet free but it appeared that animals had been there.

Perfect large group house!

This was a great house for our large group! We had five families with their kids and there was so much space that no one felt cramped! Lots of great entertainment for teenagers including the pool table and ping pong table. Plenty of room to cook and eat as well. Easy and quick ride to the village with shuttle service which is free. Highly recommend!

Great Weekend!

This set-up was ideal for our group of 3 families with kids. We were in town for the rodeo and stayed some extra days to explore Tahoe with the kids. The house had plenty of space, toys, activities, etc. We could have packed less and would have been just as prepared for the weekend thanks to the house. Hope to come back soon!

The location was lovely and easy to find. The home provided great gathering space. We had a group of 9 adults and the dining room with seating for 10 was awesome. There was a lovely fireplace that we thought we would be able to use but there was no grate in the fireplace. The master bedroom on main floor was spacious but the king size bed was unexplainable. If you even sat on the bed it made creaking crackling noise that was even worse if you made movement as simple as rolling over. I can’t even explain it. Even if you were very still it was below average on many levels. The master shower had a significant drainage problem. The shower pan would fill up with water so you were standing in several inches of water and in fear that it was going to overflow. It would eventually drain. The shower hardware was pretty weird and difficult to explain…but it didn’t make you want to use the shower. Extra towels would have been nice. The kitchen appliances were better than average. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of nice plates and matching silverware. The glassware was odd but there was enough but very little of it matched. I don’t know why it would be difficult to provide a set of matching glassware for a home that has 5 bedrooms and six bathrooms that sleeps 14. The home had some very nice attributes and equally some disappointments. We would not rent this home again in its current condition.

The area and the house itself was very nice, but the condition of the house was a little run down, and the house was not as clean as we had expected. Also had the carbon monoxide alarm go off for about 15 minutes, and could not turn it off. Did finally get a representative, but by then the alarm had stopped.

First off, this home is gorgeous and well located. But after we arrived and found ants crawling all over the kitchen, we were surprised to be told that we needed to uploaded photos to the rental company's website before they would consider addressing the problem. By the end of the stay, we felt like we were house sitting— we reported a roof leak and an issue with the fridge (that spoiled all of our food). It seems like this is a new listing. If they can work out the kinks, I am sure it would be a really great option.

Fantastic Ski Weekend!!!

The bilevel house was perfect for our large group. My 80 yr old parents have mobility issues, so they were in the master bedroom on the main floor. Everyone else was comfortable downstairs. Each room has its own bathroom which is wonderful, but the beds are VERY firm. (There are three refrigerators and two ovens!) We cooked, sledded, skied, played in the Northstar Village and enjoyed pool and ping pong. It is the perfect house for active people! (The shuttle is free and came right to the driveway. Just get the app. It took 50 minutes on a Sat morning) (We brought our own firewood for a beautiful fire during the Superbowl!) We will return!

Sleepless Nights

The wooden bed in the master suite was creaky & squeaky with the slightest movement; the couple who occupied it were exhausted during their stay. Two other bedrooms had such firm mattresses that people couldn't fall asleep. The thin mattresses covers on the beds are completely useless. Very thick mattress toppers and maybe a layer of foam are needed on the extra-extra firm beds. Better yet, throw out the uncomfortable mattresses. Otherwise, the house was good. But only two stars for the total package (because of the beds); wish I could rate it higher.

Great family reunion site

Our family used to have a house in Lake Tahoe growing up and wanted to have a reunion in Tahoe and this place worked perfectly. There was plenty of room for our large family. The kids loved the pool table, ping pong table, and hot tub. The large deck was so peaceful at night with a beautiful view. There is a trail to walk down to the North Star Village which we did one night. It was family night on a Friday night and was a blast for the kids and the adults! A very short drive down to the lake during the day was nice. We stayed here during the World cup and there were tvs everywhere so we didn't miss a second of the game. This place was an amazing place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing that could be improved are the beds downstairs. They were very uncomfortable, pretty hard to sleep on. Sofa seemed more comfortable. My nine year old daughter even complained about the mattress. Outside of that the place was phenomenal. Thanks for letting us stay there!

4 Family Ski Trip - Big Cabin

This cabin is very big and perfect for 4 families and then some. Kids had a blast, so did parents. On-call shuttles via app made it easy to ski w/o parking hassles. Daily driveway flows a plus. Grand Welcome (Property Manager) was not responsive at all. The cabin reeked of marijuana upon our arrival, the dishwasher would not work, the roof had a small leak and the garbage bin was full. I contacted them, waited 24 hours, contacted them again, and is essence nothing happened. Be prepared to bring foil, plastic wrap and any other kitchen item you might need. Basically nothing provided. Some of these things are out of control of Grand Welcome, but I expect a little more customer service when spending this much money. PS - you want an early check in or late check out, get your wallet out! We had BIG POW, so all good!

House is great size but needs maintenance

This is a tough review to write. The layout of the house was absolutely perfect for our family reunion and the house itself is beautiful, but it several issues that we had to deal with, which is the last thing you want to do while you are on vacation. The jacuzzi wouldn't heat up, and a tech was sent out to fix it but it needed a part and they couldn't get it until the day after we left. Also, the tech said the jacuzzi was dirty and he spent his time there cleaning it. The refrigerator temperature gauge was at 55 degrees and we couldn't fix it (food needs to be 34-40 degrees) and we had to move all the food to the garage refrigerator to save ourselves from getting a food-borne illness. BTW, Rentlever, the Property Management Co. knew about this from a previous renter complaining and did nothing about it, or at least let us know so we could have used the other frig from the beginning. One of the ovens didn't have buttons, so it wasn't functioning at all. The dishwasher was functioning, but the wheels kept popping off and the overhead sprayer fell off. All but one pool cue didn't have tips and there wasn't any tools to fix them with the kit that was provided. Both decks that we used; the main deck and the jacuzzi deck were filthy, I had to sweep both the deck and the rails but it didn't do much, it need to be cleaned with a pressure house. Also, we couldn't even use the cushions for the outdoor furniture since they weren't stored properly and they were filthy too. I addressed all of these issues with the Property Management Co. The inside of the house was clean and well-stocked. Again, the layout and size of the house was great, I think that if some of these maintenance issues are addressed, it could be a perfect rental.

Gorgeous house

Truly a gorgeous house. The master bedroom and 4 full guest rooms really made it ideal for a large group like ours. The only thing I would recommend is a guest binder. There were a few things we had to figure out on our own like the shuttle bus app, and the garbage/dump. I don’t see anything that should deter anyone from booking this house.
