This is a hidden gem in Saint Charles, outside is unassuming but once you are in the place is so great! The location is perfect near the end of downtown and very safe. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park and parking was very easy.

This is a very nice two bedroom apartment with many kitchen appliances (full size refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, microwave, stove, oven with plates and utensils available). It lists air conditioning as an amenity, which is true, but it is two separate floor units positioned near windows. Each bedroom has a closet with hangers and a chair; that was very handy. I forgot to ask if a hair dryer was included and I did not bring one but the owner was very gracious and dropped one off for us to use. There is an exterior light that helps viewing the entry keys on the door. The location was very handy for us while visiting family in the area.

We had a great stay and enjoyed hiking at nearby Whitewater State Park. St. Charles is a quaint little community that feels very safe. This rental is located above a realty office and the owner has done a nice job bringing an older property back to life. It is situated just down the street from Del’s Cafe that is in walking distance and a short drive to Genesis that serves very good Mexican and American food.

Nice, clean, well equipped. Everything you would hope for in your stay. I had one question during our stay and it was immediately answered via text.It was hard to find since the address to the upstairs is technically 833 and the mail box says 831. No where does it say 833. A sign with the “833” or title of the place would be helpful. Or just the description that it is located above the realtor’s office or whatever it was. If they have that in the description already, then I overlooked it. Oh also a microwave would be good.
