The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Check out is before 11 am. Please make sure all dishes are cleaned and put away, garbage is taken out to the community dumpsters. Turn off lights lock up. Make sure hot tub cover is on and locked.
Community dumpsters located on single track road. Make a left out of Fern Loop. Make a left at the stop sign at the next intersection. Dumpsters are on the left.
Make sure all covers are in place on grill, pizza oven , foosball table , fire pit. Clean out fire pit if cooled and able to clean ash out. If fire wood supply in shed is low let me know.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Trash will need taken to bear proof dumpsters on shingle camp road. Turn left out of fern loop ,turn left next stop sign , dumpsters on right.

Spectacular mountain retreat!

We absolutely loved our stay at Escape to Wisp Mountain and I miss it already! What an incredibly lovely and well-appointed cabin. My husband and I had everything we needed for our stay and found the cabin very conveniently located while also quiet and private. And I would be remiss if I didn't specifically point out how immaculately clean the home was! Matthew is a wonderful host and while we had no issues or needs, he was very responsive to messages. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We would love to stay here again!

I love visiting Deep Creek ,MD with my family so much we decided to make a place of our own and built a brand new Log home completed in June of 2022. I decided that I wanted a great place for my family to escape to that was big enough for a family or a small group. We love our home and hope your family or small group loves it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

I chose this neighborhood because it’s a private community and located on Wisp Mountain. It’s centrally located but in an area that is private and there is very little traffic on fern loop almost none. I have been there on stays in off season and mid week and we were the only people in a home. You can take walks ride a bike in the neighborhood or venture off to some of the other neighborhoods and golf course. It’s also a log or natural style home community mostly chalets and cottages and log homes. The community is also wooded and homesites are larger lots 2/3 acre to 2 acres mostly. There are log homes located on both side of Escape to Wisp Mountain and across the road. It’s a newer community that has public water/ sewage, underground utilities electric, and fiber optic for good internet and cable.

New Log Home with great amenities. Large hot tub , covered porches ,Amish built poly wood outdoor furniture , front porch swing, indoor and outdoor gas fireplace , unique aquascape water feature, large fire pit custom built steel fire pit made in USA, large cedar log picnic table , Weber grill, black-stone pizza oven , outdoor foosball table, corn hole set ,chess table. Roku smart tvs throughout the home every bedroom and living room, high speed internet , high end large shower heads and tankless water heater. Custom log beds and bedroom furniture with high end bedding,memory foam mattress. Fully equipped kitchen , large farmhouse sink, granite countertops, whirlpool black stainless appliances. Washer dryer and keyless entry for check in.
