Located in the heart of the Ocean Point Colony this three-bedroom summer cottage offers the experience of a true Maine vacation. Open studded walls and some antique furnishings add to the charm and character of this summer cottage. Pull up a rocking chair on the front porch and relax for a while. You can see the ocean just down the street. Enjoy morning walks and evening strolls along the Shore Road where you'll experience the rocky coast of Maine with sea life, light houses, crashing waves, and sea spray in the air. The Ocean Point community center is just around the corner where kids and adults can play tennis and enjoy daily planned activities and gatherings. The community center also has a playground for kids. Ocean Point is located nearby to Boothbay harbor, which offers fine dining, and harbor cruises, schooner trips, whale watching, and clam bakes. Have spent summer vacations here for about 80 years. Great meeting place for extended family. We come from Seattle, Wa and others from Tennessee and Georgia.
Why they chose this property
This house was purchased by our grandparents in 1938 and they enjoyed it for many years then passed down to our mother and now to us 3 boys and our families.
What makes this property unique
Walking a half a block to the ocean and being able to enjoy the sunsets and waves crashing on the rocks.
