We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The view back to Wiscasset is wonderful. We enjoyed walking the quiet road and loved seeing all the spring flowers and blooming trees. The house is so relaxing and peacefull
We loved our stay at this cozy waterfront cottage. The house is comfortable and well supplied. The cottage is in such a beautiful spot. We took walks down to the fort, explored the area and went to Sherman's Bookstore in Boothbay and Damiscotta. It was the perfect relaxing get away.
Great location near Boothbay and surrounding area. The place was clean and had everything you could need with a view over the river. Would stay again when in the area.
This was a perfect property for us because it was out of town but close to towns. Situated between Wiscasset and Newcastle, either was easily accessible, but the property was in a quiet neighborhood on the water. Nature preserves and lighthouses were a short drive away. And, only a little over an hour from the Portland airport.
The house was sparkling clean. The kitchen was a dream. The host, Nancy, was a great communicator, which makes all the difference for a great short term rental. Would definitely return!
This property was perfect for our wants and needs. Exceptionally well furnished and equipped. We much enjoyed sitting by the river and watching the bridge traffic in the early evening. This is a great location for day trips to explore coastal Maine.
Splendid time in Maine. This home is a great place to relax and unwind. Thank you!!

My daughter and I had an amazing two night stay at the waterfront house. I love sitting outside at night watching the cars go over the bridge. The location was easily accessible to all the activities we had planned, including beaches, lobster, shacks, and light houses. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful beautiful B&B thank you for having us.
We had a wonderful visit to Edgecomb. The property owner responded quickly and kindly to an issue we had at check in. We enjoyed watching the water, walking around Wiscasset and Boothbay and exploring the backroads of Maine. Highly recommend a visit to the area. Check out Treats, Birches Cafe, and Yonder for delicious snacks
The property inside, I would say, was renovated recently . Decorated very nicely and was organized. The queen bedroom was comfortable. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights going south to Portland and north to Arcadia and bar harbor and around Wiscasset Boothbay and Edgecomb the other days.Th only thing is the outside could use a deck and a walkway and a drive way. Nancy the host was very communicative and nice. Thanks for the use of your beautiful home!
My family and I are so in love with this home, and the waterview was amazing, also the home was furnished with beautiful decor. We will definitely be coming back.Thank you so much.
This was our second time staying at this property. We loved it so much the first time, we had to go back. The home is lovely and light-filled, the beds are comfortable, the view from the home and the location is great. It was the perfect spot to venture out on little day trips and then come back to relax and watch the sunset. Nancy is a wonderful and attentive host. We will definitely be back!
Located just off Route 1 at the end of a quiet road. Easy access to Wiscasett, Booth Bay and Damariscotta. Beautiful views. House was immaculate, quiet, and the kitchen was fully stocked with amenities. Quiet road for short evening walks. Owner is extremely responsive if you need help with anything.
Our stay 118 Fort Road was terrific. The home was spotless and decorated beautifully and the beds were very comfortable. The location of the rental was perfect… close to town, but far smooth away to be very peaceful. One added bonus was the neighborhood. We were able to meet and two wonderful neighbors, who were able to provide us with lots of “local” information and guidance. We would definitely rent this home again!
We had a wonderful stay in Edgecomb. The house is right on the water and the view of Wiscasset was beautiful. The house was spotless, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Watching the water with the little propane stove going made the wet spring weather almost fun! We enjoyed hiking the local nature trails, walking in historic Wiscasset and lobster rolls from Red's Eats. We can't wait to come back.
The place was very nice. The TV was set up for a computer genius, could never figure the system out. Everything we tried wanted a payment. The bathroom is not set up for older people. My wife feel because of the lack of handrails.
The house is in a quiet and walkable neighborhood. The bathroom is very nice. The kitchen is well equipped. Only found the location of the dishes down low in the island a little awkward to reach into. Comfortable beds and nice dining table. The couch does sink down a bit on the chaise side and is very small, only really fits 2 people. Interesting view watching the traffic on the Wiscasset Bridge. Was very convenient to watch the Fourth of July fireworks from the front yard, a fabulous show. We enjoyed walking down to Fort Edgecomb. It is a great centralized location, convenient to drive to Boothbay or to Damariscotta. We did have an issue when we arrived that the house and linens were not cleaned, a mix up due to an unusual situation but after communicating with the hosts it was quickly resolved. Because of that situation I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness, but otherwise it was a nice house, very nicely decorated. We ate at Reds for our first night there and then cooked on the grill for most of the others. We did enjoy our vacation there.
My husband and I arrived on Friday afternoon for a 2-night get-away. The home is beautiful with many special touches. Although I did not get to meet the owners, they were prompt in responding to my questions prior to the trip. There was everything available that anyone could need. We could not find an easy way down to the water and being seniors thought it best not to try. The views were beautiful. A must see close to this home is Reds Eats, an amazing lobster stand in Wiscasset. The line was long but it was worth the wait. We also visited Booth Bay Harbor and the Edgecomb Fort which is on the road to the home. We left feeling refreshed and hoping to return again in the future. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful time!
The decor was very tastefully done and appreciated all the amenities provided.
