One of the original 1920's Davis Island fishing camps, Westview Cottage is a small waterfront accommodation offering 365 sq. ft. of recently redecorated space. This privately owned, 1-bedroom cottage offers amazing westerly water views toward the quaint village of Wiscasset. The self-catering cottage is well-appointed for a comfortable weekend or week-long stay in Mid-coast Maine. The central location just off Route 1 provides perfect a location for accessing all this area has to offer—beaches, waterfront dining, museums, hiking trails, kayaking, outlet shopping, antiquing, or just relaxing and enjoying the views. The cottage has a garden sitting area with Adirondack chairs and a community fire pit available for use on the Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort waterfront property.

The cottage was perfect. Immaculately clean and a wonderful location. It has all the cooking supplies you would need and the layout was just what we needed for two people. The location is quiet and very safe with wonderful sunsets on the river. We stayed for 5 days and did site seeing down all the harbors and inlets from Rockland on south.

We found this property perfect for our 4 night get-away....not just the beautiful, restful location but every detail of a rental (and a home) has been addressed! Communication was quick and all went smoothly. We'd definitely return to this property. Sitting in the side garden overlooking the river was such a treat as well as so many things to do in the area.

Maine coast getaway

Cute and cozy cottage on the water. This was a perfect stay for hubby and I while driving up the coast of maine to stop and see things along the way to acadia. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely cottage in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah's cute and very comfortable cottage which provided a great base for exploring the area as well as doing some remote work. The cottage is beautifully styled and well equipped for a most enjoyable stay. Sitting in the garden enjoying the nightly sunset was a highlight. Highly recommended.

July 2023 Visit to Wiscasset

Ed and Margie sure enjoyed this cozy, sweet cottage. Lovely grounds and gardens. A perfect starting point for all of our day trips. Beautiful sunsets from the cottage or out on the pier. We stayed for one week and did not want to leave. Thank you for sharing your lovely space.

Cottage by the water

We absolutely loved this one bedroom cottage. Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Very cozy and comfortable. It had all the amenities right down to q-tips 🤗. The queen bed was very comfy. The shower was very large and the water was always hot. The grounds and surrounding cottages were picturesque of the quintessential Maine dream. We will definitely be back. We give it 5/5 stars.
