Damariscotta lake house with availability August and September
Whether you are inside or outside you can relax with with the calming view of the lake. Sit by the lake and read a book, try to catch a fish from our dock, or explore the lake on the kayaks and stop by Spectacle Island and try the rope swing. Hungry? Cook a burger on the grill and enjoy the amazing view or try one of the great restaurants 5 minutes away in downtown Damariscotta. Want to explore further? Take a day trip to the Pemaquid Lighthouse or Pemaquid beach and enjoy a lobster at Shaw's in New Harbor with an evening cruise on the Hardy Boat. Lots of exploring of the coast of Maine in Damariscotta and Pemaquid area possible and a little further in Rockland, Camden and Boothbay too. While there is no better place to be in the summer, fall is wonderful too. Lots of festivals in the summer and the famous Damariscotta pumpkin fest is in October.

This property is on one of the top 10 largest lakes in Maine, a short drive downtown Damariscotta on the river, walking distance to the boat launch, less than 30 minutes to the ocean. You can sit on the deck with a cocktail and enjoy the view or sit inside. In the evening and morning you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets or sunrise either from the window, deck or on a kayak. During the day you can stay and relax or explore coastal Maine. Lots of scenery to enjoy on tons walking trails, boat cruises, fishing, beaches, lighthouses, dining, and so much more.
