We had a great stay at the Lakefront on Pemaquid Pond cottage. The house is very nice and the location on the lake is great. It has a great waterfront and we enjoyed hanging out in the living room area at the end of the day. We hope to come back and stay again!

Thank you for your response. It is a quiet spot once the summer winds down—good birding and great scenery.. The area has a lot to offer. Happy that you found the cottage to your liking!
We had a wonderful stay at this adorable Maine cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. My husband and I loved sitting on the screened in porch each evening - and our 3 kids loved having the loft for themselves.
Thank you for having us!

We loved this home - it was the perfect place for our family. Clean, just the right size, great lake access and views. Donna was very helpful and accommodating! It's even nicer than the photos show!
We have stayed in this area previously and the location of this house made it easy for us to enjoy easy access to local adventures in Camden, Boothbay, Monhegan Island and of course our favorite Maine town, Damariscotta.:)

Hi juli.
We’re glad that you enjoyed your stay at our cottage. The sunsets can be amazing—great that you were treated to some gorgeous ones! Thanks and you’re welcomed back anytime.
This is a lovely home on a quiet cove on Pemaquid Pond. Our grandchildren enjoyed jumping off the dock and floating on the inner tubes. The lake was high this year since Maine has had a rainy summer. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was great for a family visit. The addition of a raft would be nice since the VRBO pictures show one. We really enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for the nice review. We’re always glad to hear that families have enjoyed their stay. Thanks also, for taking such good care of the cottage. You’re welcomed back anytime!
Comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, GREAT collection of games, and fantastic communication with the host. We had a fantastic stay and it served as a great hub to get to all that midcoast Maine has to offer (Fort Knox and Round Top ice cream are always favs of mine).
It can get a little noisy for those with hearing aids (especially with kids). Our 4yo loved the selection of games. My mom loved the GIANT washing machine. I loved the comfort of having a family loft and 2 full bathrooms. My 18mo loved the birds and balls she could point out. My partner loved the screened porch for work meetings. The dock, swimming float, and sandy beach are great for little and big swimmers/boaters.

Thank you for the great review! We’re glad that you took advantage of all that the lake, our cottage and mid coast Maine has to offer. There is really a lot to see and do in the area. We try to make our place as family friendly and as comfortable as possible. Your review tells us that it is!
You are welcomed back anytime! Happy that you had a great vacation. Thanks again.
Our family had a wonderful time at this property, swimming, kayaking, little ones playing on the small sand beach, coffee on the screened-in porch, lots of crafts, puzzles and games, quiet time in a hammock, long talks, and good food. The cottage is comfortable and well stocked with basic needs. The owners deserve credit for good communication and providing a homey place to stay. One of the highlights was seeing bald eagles, two fishing in the lake and one taking flight from a tree near the dock. We have rented thirteen properties in Maine and rate this as one of the best!

P.S. Thanks for the wonderful note, Charlotte!
Generally nice spot - screened in porch is great, however, if you are a swimmer you may want to bring a partner with a paddle board to get out. The dock is in extremely mucky, shallow, and weedy waters on the lake. Otherwise peaceful and nice sunset views.

This past summer was a very dry one and the high water mark of the lake was down by 3'. The dock is 68' long and the water depth at the end of the dock is enough for any swimmer to get started without needing a buddy with a paddle board. We are swimmers and we manage to swim off the dock as well as the beach without any issues.
We've been renting for 12 years both privately and through rental agencies and this renter left the cottage the dirties that any renter has ever left it. The kitchen was dirty from top to bottom and both bathrooms were left a mess. This renter left two loads of dirty dishes, one in the dishwasher itself and another in the dish drainer, to be taken care of by the cleaning crew. A nightstand was ruined by spilled water left standing on the wood stand and the renter deliberately moved a larger lamp to try to cover the stain and put a tissue box on the lifted veneer to hide the damage. We would never rent to this renter again.
