Enjoy new mattresses and premium sheets, along with blanket/quilt for summer and down comforters for winter. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make family dinners. Three bedrooms have sweeping views of the lake, while the fourth has a partial lake view. One and a half newly remodeled bathrooms. The new full bathroom features a tub shower, pebble floors and a large vanity. A gas fireplace was recently installed in the vintage stone surround and makes it perfect for a winter escape.
There are two large decks for lounging and a new swim platform and dock to launch a canoe or kayak. 2 canoes, 2 kayaks, 8 life jackets, and beach towels are available for your use. It's the perfect location for a swim or to cast a line. Additional boating options (Pontoon boat and stand up paddle boards) are available to rent with delivery directly to the house! Access to a local Master Maine fishing guide that will pick you up at the house dock and take you fishing! Enjoy stunning sunsets, listening to the loons, star gazing, or gathering around the smokeless fit pit at the end of the day.
Damariscotta Lake is located at the gateway to Mid-Coast Maine. Explore nearby Boothbay Harbor, Camden, Rockland and many small town gems, all within 30 minutes of the cottage. The towns of Damariscotta and Wiscasset are a 15 minute drive with charming restaurants and large grocery stores. Why they chose this property
The Watch House at Darmariscotta is a classic Maine camp, updated for your comfort. The property boasts two houses (we only rent one) built in 1912 and 1930. This house sits at water's edge. Go to sleep at night with the sound of the water lapping at the shore. The sunsets are absolutely spectacular with colors lasting for over an hour.
