We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It had a beautiful view, was cozy yet felt large and grand. The location was perfect for exploring the Wiscasset to Booth Bay Area. We loved sitting in the hot tub and star gazing. We would highly recommend it for small to large groups who like to have privacy in beautiful surroundings.

All went well at the house in Westport Island. We were very pleased with the property overall, as it provided a great getaway for our growing family, which now includes three married couples, and three children, ages 10, 7, and a baby. Our hosts even included a pack and play for the baby, which was perfect. It would have been nice to have access to the river, dock and club, but we understand that is reserved for owners of the property only. Hot tub, grill, well stocked kitchen including all necessary pots, pans, etc., for family dinners, basketball hoop and ball, chess and ping pong table all made our week in Maine fun and without complication.

We have traveled extensively and I can honestly say this home exceeded our every expectation! I could go on and on about the view, which is amazing. The mornings spent watching the sun rise over the water were a staple! Or all of the fun things to do just at the house itself; Chess, ping pong, huge hot tub, fire pit, darts, games, and hiking the incredible property where this home sits. But what we liked most is that it feels like a very loved home! The accents around the house are lovely, tasteful, fun, and not generic like most rentals. We instantly felt right at home! The town of Wiscasset is lovely and has some unique shops and amazing lobster rolls. It is close to Booth Bay and Pemaquid, both of which are well worth the visit. Bar Harbor is less than 3 hours away and Camden is a great stopover on the way.Several days we never left the house though because we were so content. The property is so peaceful and private. It felt like a slice of heaven! The hosts were wonderful and so easy to reach when we had a few questions.I cannot recommend this home highly enough!! We plan to return!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The house was spacious and so cozy . We spent New Years here with my 3 kids and we had such a wonderful time. Played board games, puzzles and spent a lot of time in the hot tub with the spectacular view . Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Time Away

My wife and I had a lovely weekend at this location with our dog. We were able to relax and read books, go for small hikes around the island, and have a thoroughly lovely stay. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Would stay here again for sure!

Great stay, even in cooler weather (hot tub was great for this). Would love to stay here again in another season or for our annual April trip again next year. Plenty of room in the house for kids, parents and grandparents. Zero complaints!
