Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It had everything that we needed already provided. It was cozy and comfortable. It was beautifully decorated to look warm and inviting. We felt very at home here. The views are spectacular! Seeing the water right through the windows as our family gathered around the table for meals was a great bonus. I have already recommended this cabin to my siblings who want to visit family in the Marshall, Walnut, Big Pine areas. Very comfortable!

Beautiful property, really enjoyed the little "pond" and the frogs kept us company! Listening to the river/creek was so serene, just what we wanted. Cabin was clean and very comfortable.

Awesome location

We loved staying here. It was everything and more for my husband who is an avid fisherman. All he had to do was walk outside. We stayed here with our teenage kids and made plenty of memories. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool table, grill, eating dinner outside at the table and the fire pit making s’mores. We hope to come back soon!

Phenomenal for distancing and relaxing

Cant say enough about the location and the cabin. I wanted something "away from people" for my birthday, and this was exactly it! Close enough to civilization with great wi-fi, but also felt isolated. The sound of the stream 24/7 was amazing. 11/10 -- definitely coming back. Will try to post video if I can figure out how.

Nice place, but pet friendly was no good for us.

I thought this was a no pets allowed rental. My wife is very allergic to pet dander and it was obvious that this place had pets in the past. She was very allergic to the bedding.

Water’s Edge

A little piece of Heaven. Everything you see online fish right across drive in front of cabin. My husband caught a trout within 5 minutes and then kept on catching Brook Brown Rainbow. It is catch & release. The only caveat is no bath upstairs two are downstairs. Give yourself a little present and stay

Look no further! Great house!

I have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this is one of the best rentals I have stayed in. Communication with the property manager was excellent. The house was very clean and had a spectacular view of the stream in front (as seen in the pictures.) The house was stocked with many more things than typically supplied, like all paper products, cleaning supplies, linens, even extra condiments, including baking items (flour, sugar). Plenty of pots/pans/silverware, etc. Even had sharp knives which I appreciate since we cooked all but one of our meals there. It rained most of the time, and thankfully, we were able to park in the garage, so we didn't get wet loading/unloading the car. We did NOT have issues connecting to the internet or watching tv. BTW, they installed fiber optic cable while we were there so much faster service for the internet. The master bed was super comfy. Linens were soft. Plenty of towels/washrags were provided. I could go on and on about how much I loved this property. In fact, I have already booked a return trip in the fall. I cannot wait to use the firepit in the front of the house!

Beautiful location

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was very clean and the view was so pleasant. We didn't care for the water- not sure if it was well water, but the smell was terrible. My husband is an avid outdoors man and is familiar with hunting/fishing regulations but they made it very complicated to find out the exact rules. People in town gave us different answers on the regulations too. I think what we found out was that this particular stream had "seasons" and it was only open to fish a few weeks out of the year but it's still catch and release. We were looking forward to fishing, so this was a bummer. The town is sweet and we ate at the Iron Horse one night and it was very good. They had live music. I got coffee everyday at the little coffee shop right outside of town along the river and her little shop was so sweet and quaint. Another tip is to make sure you have your main groceries with you since the only grocery stores in town are a tiny little market and the Dollar General. We have told all of our family about this and we were so happy staying here. Great little getaway. :)

Paradise!

This house is so amazing with its rustic interior, but the river/creek was very special with its rushing sound over the rocks! It could be seen and heard throughout the house. It is so private and peaceful! There were other homes to see walking, which was nice not to be so isolated. We were entertained by the bullfrogs in the pond with the lily pads. We saw a couple of blue herons, which was exciting! It was wonderful to have all the linens and other necessities provided. My husband and I hope to go back since we have family that live in that area.
