Has 5 large bedrooms with XL Twin, Queen or King beds , and a queen pull out sofa for additional lodging. Sits on ~2 acres with a custom saltwater pool and two fire places. Beautiful grounds surrounded by tree lines on all sides. This home has been described as a home away from home, cleanliness second to none. A grill and an outdoor fire pit by the pool make the outdoors warm and inviting, with a fully fenced in backyard perfect for lawn games!

The Space:
We offer a 5 bedroom modern farmhouse that features an open floor plan throughout the home with a kitchen & island, living room, dining room and a great room with cathedral ceilings. There are plenty of spaces for large groups to interact and relax together... leather sectional and large sofa in the great room with a gas fireplace, additional couches in the living room with a wood fireplace, grand dining table that sits 12+, and that's just the beginning! The fenced in backyard with custom salt water pool makes this property truly unique... great for dining, drinks, entertaining, lawn games, volleyball and more! This is a secluded property that gives you peace and comfort, while still being close to the track, all things downtown Saratoga Springs, and Saratoga Lake!

The Neighborhood:
We live in a quiet neighborhood that's under 5-miles from downtown Saratoga Springs. We're about 5-minutes to the Spa State Park (with its clay tennis courts, hiking trails, museums, and Spa Golf) and just over 5 minutes to Saratoga National Golf Club . It's a perfect blend of the country home get-away while being close to the Saratoga Track and all the Saratoga night life! And parking is easy... you'll have space in our garage and room for more cars in the circular driveway. Saratoga Springs is a cheap and quick Uber ride away, while access to the Northway makes it easy to get to Albany, Malta and the Capital District.

Logistics:
Guests will have full access to the full home, the front yard (big enough for a flag football game), the fenced-in backyard, patio, grill, saltwater pool and two-car garage. We'll give you a four-digit code for the numerical lock on the front door and garage on the day of your arrival.

You'll have the place entirely to yourself... our family will be staying in a separate guest house on the premises and you won't interact with us unless you need something... it's your vacation and we'll be out of the way! You'll have plenty of space for clothes in open closets and the entire house is 'hotel ready'. We'll be available to answer any questions, help with features of the home, and/or give advice on local attractions, places to eat, etc.

Awesome property if you are coming with a large group and looking to stay near Saratoga. Very close to downtown and the track. The outdoor space was amazing and indoors were exactly as shown on the listing.The hosts even left us a bottle of wine and snacks when we checked in.

Great house for a large group. we stayed here for the Belmont at Saratoga and had a blast! We had a group of 14 that fit on the provided beds, air mattresses, and couches. Great spot 10 minutes to downtown saratoga, and 10 minutes to the lake. owners were super responsive.

This is a great house to rent for a bachelor weekend in Saratoga. Close distance to the track and downtown. The pool was a really nice added bonus. David was a very responsive host who answered all our questions during the stay.

Great house in amazing location close to all the greatness of Saratoga

I recently stayed at the house with 15 friends for a bachelor party. The house was absolutely amazing. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and a lot of room for activities in the the front and back yard. The location was very convenient for going to the track and downtown. I definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again in the future! Thank you again David & Johanna for a great, seamless weekend!

I stayed at David's house 3 nights and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I organized a bachelor party for 13-14 late 20's, early 30's guys. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep (we used a couple air beds) and the house was perfect. Plenty of space, the backyard+pool+grill was great, each room had an AC unit and the whole house was clean. I spoke with David as soon as we checked in and he was a very kind and communicative host. Our group was probably louder than most groups they have staying there, but we never got a complaint from David. His wife and kids were staying on the other side of the property and we saw them coming and going, but they never bothered us. Very kind people. Would recommend this house for any group. Everything is a 10min uber/drive away--bars downtown on Caroline St, Lake Saratoga, the racetrack, grocery store.

Charming, updated farm house with pool

We planned a trip to Saratoga to celebrate my 40th bday and to see DMB with a bunch of friends and family at SPAC. The Saratoga Farmhouse suited our needs well. It was close to the venue, and it was spacious enough to accommodate 5 couples, grandma and a couple of kids; the pool was definitely a bonus, even though it is not heated. The property is large and well maintained, with much of the property residing in front of the house. Great for lawn games. At first, I was a bit hesitant about renting this property since the owners live there while you're vacationing, but the homeowner assured me that they would not bother us unless we needed them while were there, which proved to be true. It shows that the homeowners spent a lot of time and money updating the home, but there are few minor details that I think could be improved for future visits. One was that the freezer was full of food that appeared to be left from previous renters, or the homeowners. Since there is no ice machine in the refrigerator, it was a bit annoying trying to fit our stuff, plus ice, in a freezer that was already mostly full. Another is that the house has central A/C on the bottom floor but does not upstairs. I think that this house could benefit from an entire CAC system, instead of having window units upstairs, especially since one of the window units is wonky to get to work. We were able to get the unit to work upon instructions from the homeowner, but that was after our friends spent a night in the sweltering room; they actually had to remove the unit to open the window to get some air. The grill worked, but the flavorizer bars were completely rusted and one of them broke through while we were cooking, so the grill ran hotter than expected. Lastly, there is a race track not far down the road. On Friday night, we were having a BBQ to celebrate my birthday and it was very, very loud. More than one would expect. The good thing about the racetrack is that it made our party seem quiet :-) All and all we had a great stay at the Saratoga Farmhouse. It was very convenient to get to SPAC / downtown Saratoga, and even though it is close to a main thoroughfare, you still feel like you are away when you arrive at the home

Just spent 5 days here. Pool is gigantic. Backyard and front yard are huge- allows for all activities. Loved the basketball hoop. House is in great shape, beautiful kitchen, clean bathrooms, big bedrooms, perfect living room. Great location. Short drive to the race track, and the main town of Saratoga. Ubers accessible at all hours. Very good restaurants minutes from the house (we loved Carson’s). New/clean Grocery store and all other amenities less than 5mins from house. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a long weekend- hopefully I will be back.

Family Vacation

Our family (4 couples, 8 children under 10) had a fantastic stay. Property was clean and spacious. The owners were responsive and helpful with any questions. The front yard is huge and shady- kids played kickball and baseball and loved the swings. The pool was enjoyed by all. The kitchen was a nice size for cooking. Cooking supplies were basic- if you have strong preferences you might need some additional items, but we were able to manage with what was there. Near the park, horse races and children’s museum, Lake George was an easy drive.

Great Stay at A Wonderful Saratoga Springs Property

We had a great stay at this home, pool was a great gathering point and we all had a lot of fun there and the front yard enabled us to put up a full Volleyball court which led to some spirited competition for our family. The interior of the home was very spacious, we had great weather, but even if we had gotten some rain the main living areas provide plenty of space for the 14 people we had there over 4 days. Bedrooms were all good, bathrooms fine, kitchen is great for a big family and the AC on both floors worked really well. We were all very comfortable. David and Joanna were a pleasure to work with easy to get in touch with using the VRBO app and they were always very responsive. All in all great place to stay and enjoy the greater Saratoga Springs area.

Great Family Vacation

This was our second time staying at the farmhouse and it was just as great as we remembered. Three generations consisting of 6 adults and 6 kids had plenty of room for eating, sleeping and playing both indoors and out. Very convenient to the track, and downtown Saratoga. Grandkids loved the pool and the front yard and we all enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit. Wonderful memories we will cherish forever.

Our family of 7 adults and 6 children from ages 7-15 stayed for four nights. We enjoyed the track, the Springs, a pontoon boat on the lake, shopping and dining out. Track and golf getaway

The property is a in a great central location, a short ride to anything you want to do in Saratoga whether it’s golf or a day at the track. The pool and huge lawn space were perfect for games and cooling off. We had a great time at opening weekend and will definitely be back. The house was perfect for our group of 12. We were 6 adults and 6 kids. We enjoyed the pool during downtime when we were not having adventures in the surrounding area. The kitchen/dining area was great for eating together. Great location and clean. A 5 - 10 minute drive to Broadway (Saratoga’s Main Street). The owners responded to questions within a few minutes.

Great getaway in lovely home

The home is beautiful and is perfect for a larger group. We were 12 people in total, and there were enough beds/bedrooms for us all. The kitchen, dining area and living rooms were a great size. We spent a lot of time out back, either in the pool, relaxing on the lounge chairs, or hanging out by the fire pit. The owners were very pleasant, and responsive, and the check-in and check-out process was easy. Grocery stores, downtown Saratoga, and the park are all a quick drive away. I highly recommend this home for anyone that enjoys the wonderful things that Saratoga and the surrounding area has to offer.

David is a Product Line Leader for GE Renewables in Schenectady, NY and Johanna is a Research Scientist for the NYS Dept. of Health in Albany, NY. We love to travel and visit new places, as well as meeting new people who come to Saratoga for the track or just a fun family get away. We take great pride in our home and are very much looking forward to sharing it with others who are looking for a great vacation and a relaxing stay!
