The home's amenities were great - the hot tub was welcome and relaxing. We also appreciated the availability of many kitchen pots and pans to cook with. Great location for our family's Thanksgiving.
We really enjoyed this property, the listing was as described, everything was clean, and the host was responsive and available for any questions or concerns. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a nice house in a nice setting. The hot tub is a bonus. We had someIssues/ miscommunication that we worked through. We had an enjoyable stay and it was nice to be out of town and be able to have our dog with us.

Thanks Susan again for your patience with the fridge repair situation- repairs were made today but I do apologize the part wasn't available until after your stay.
We loved our stay here! Traveling with young kids can be tricky. This home is clean and comfortable, yet kid friendly! Beds were comfy, the house had a good smell. We loved the backyard, my boys played out there for hours.

Charming older home in a great location to visit Olympia. It is, as described, an older home with its associated quirks. The fenced front yard is a nice feature. Pay attention to the owners driving directions as the entry driveway is easy to pass by.
Host was very responsive to all communications. Little things like loose outlets, breakers popping, lack of end tables make it a 4 vs 5 but the house gave us what we needed in a perfect location.

Thanks I would love to hear which specific outlets/ I was not aware of that and it’s good to know.
Also I hope you enjoyed your holiday coffee card we left for you? We just didn’t heard from you at all during your stay and never want to send too many messages while you are relaxing with family.
Thanks again for your (and your furry friends) stay. I do welcome any comments that help improve the home.
We rented this to stay near some relatives. Overall, nice place. Easy to get to. Only challenge was 1 bathroom for the 9 of us. Would recommend it, though.
We used this for family overflow for a family reunion. It was convenient to downtown. It was a hot weekend and the downstairs stayed cool - upstairs was hard to cool down - use some fans for upstairs on super hot days.
The location is fabulous near all the attractions.
There were a couple of minor nuisances like the refrigerator was broken and the mattress in the downstairs bedroom was hard as a rock, but otherwise it was great. My kids loved the toys in the kids bedroom my oldest would ask to go play upstairs with them and the playpen was great for the youngest to sleep in.

Yes you are correct, I felt very bad that the fridge had some issues during your stay. As you let us know on Friday it was fixed by Monday but I am sorry our offer of a mini fridge or cooler was not to your liking, or the $200 credit we extended you for the trouble.
The downstairs organic wool mattress is firm but the upstairs mattress is a traditional style.
Thanks for your feedback
Nice and private property. It is an classic house with the usual issues of an old house. Overall a nice stay. We had dogs with us and the fenced in front yard was very convenient. Our beagle fell into the small pond. It is covered in growth and he didn't know it was not lawn. The fence does have some openings that a small dog could potential get through. Not an issue for us. We didn't use the hot tube. I would recommend for adults and older kids.
Cozy private location; perfect for dogs. Lovely owner.
Location, location, location and charm! Despite some much needed amenities, in a few short days, this place felt like home. Favorite things: location, big, private front yard, hot tub, Jennifer Ash, and space. However, if you are expecting a place that has thick towels, comfy beds with the 500+ count sheets, couches that you can sink into, state of the art techno and kitchen, this place is not for you. It is family home and we enjoyed spending time with family there! I would highly recommend it,.
Nice house, plenty of space, beautiful neighborhood with great bird song if that's your thing. Hot tub was definitely a huge draw and we loved it. Only detracting one star because something went wrong with the fridge. It stopped putting out cold air after we arrived. No idea why as no one did anything that could have damaged it, especially not the compressor. Luckily we didn't need it much so it all worked out.

Hi, My name is Jennifer and I have been an owner of this VRBO since 2015!
Why they chose this property
This property feels like home. Our house was built in the 1940 s so brand new and fancy we are not. Cozy, welcoming, clean, and well stocked we are. Come and rest, do some family games, puzzles, read a book in our library (many different genres available), sit in our reflective fairie garden, teeter-totter, or soak in our hot tub. Our house is well stocked with games for the young and old, puzzles and many books. We have DVDs for the whole family as well. We made sure this house has all the things we enjoy when we travel and stay in a VRBO. If you are looking for a modern, sleek hotel experience you may want to search elsewhere. If you are looking for a home away from your own- we will be so happy to welcome you!
What makes this property unique
