This home is lovely and light-filled. I gave it 4 stars for family friendly only to point out that there is a step up into the kitchen upon entering and a step down into the living room which could be an issue for families with children or elderly people. We visited for a week including Thanksgiving so that we could gather with our adult children. There was lots of counter space for cooking, and a good assortment of pots and pans. I want to note that if you are doing a lot of oven cooking, the stove is an Italian brand that does not have a digital read out of the temperature setting. Fortunately, we brought an oven thermometer with us so we could accurately adjust the temperature. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean and updated. The host, Anne, was extremely responsive to questions and needs! I highly recommend this house in Rowayton!!!
