About the host
Hosted by Betsy Brill
We are originally from San Francisco and have more than twenty years enjoying our home away from home during the summers. It has only been recently that we have be unable to make the long journey to France so we decided to share our home others. We have a wonderful local woman named Tatiana who is the local host and manages all the needs of the home in our absence. We have hosted several of our homes as short term rentals on VRBO and other platforms in the years past and use VRBO for our needs for short term-rentals.
Why they chose this property
When looking for a home in Provence, we knew we wanted to live in a villages with services like a market, bakery, bank, pharmacy, etc. We love the feel of the countryside but did not want to be isolated and in need of a car to run basic errands. Our locations makes us feel like we are in the countryside AND in the village. Walk out the front door, turn right, and head into town on its main street and its services. (On Saturday mornings, you will head right into the weekly market!) Out the back, we enjoy the views and quiet of the countryside.
What makes this property unique
We like being on the periphery of the village. We open the front door and turn right to reach the main street and its shops and services. We turn left to wander down to the wine cooperative, trails to Lac de Carcès and other nice walking areas. From our upper terrace and the back bedrooms, we look out over the countryside. This home has provided the best of both worlds for us.
