Oasis on O Street - Full Floor Apartment - Logan/Dupont, near White House
Graceful, contemporary, and spacious apartment in a Victorian row house. Walk just a few blocks to dozens of stores, restaurants, bars, and Whole Foods (14th St/Logan). Easy access to Smithsonian/Mall, White House and downtown by walking, e-scooter, Metro. Six embassies within two blocks.
Though close to everything, it's an oasis. This quiet, tree-lined street is only one block long with little traffic.
THE SPACE
• Very large, 1,000 square feet. One bedroom.
• COMPLETE APARTMENT—full floor, garden-level apartment with its own entrance--nothing is shared with the house.
• Fully equipped kitchen (Whole Foods one block away, Trader Joe’s a few blocks away).
• I live upstairs and am usually available.
SLEEPING
• Bed 1: King-size bed with superior quality mattress (Casper) in the bedroom.
• Bed 2: Sofa bed. The second bed is a sofa-bed (queen size and comfortable) in the living room, ideal for kids. Note: accessing the bathroom requires going through the bedroom.
• Crib: Please notify me if you need the crib so I can remove it from storage. The crib is 30" x 43" and is a "4 in 1" Portable Baby Crib with: Nursery Center, Foldable Travel Playard with Bassinet, Mattress, Changing Table for Newborn, Infant, Toddler
FEATURES & AMENATIES
• Hi-Speed WIFI, desk.
• Cable, HBO, etc.
• Coffee (Regular drip coffee maker AND Keurig)
• Thermostat for full control of your heat and air conditioning.
• Fresh towels, and bathroom essentials provided.
• Washer/Dryer in the unit.
PARKING
• There is NO reserved parking, but street parking is typically available within a block or two. A Washington DC parking permit is required on weekdays, which can obtain for you at no cost.
GUEST ACCESS
• It includes the entire first floor (ground level) of the house.
• It has its own entrances, front and rear (please use only the front entrance).
• There are six steps to reach the entrance, so it is not handicap accessible.
• Self-access with a unique passcode I’ll provide the day before you arrive.

• I generally keep the upcoming 8 weeks open for booking. If you are interested in booking farther out, please contact me.

I have lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years and enjoy helping guests make the most of their stay with advice about the neighborhood and sightseeing. I live upstairs and am usually available.
Why they chose this property
Logan Circle is classic and modern. The architecture is mainly Victorian with lots of character and embassies--from the end of the block you can see the White House and Washington Monument. But it's also one of the trendiest neighborhoods in the city with a vibrant nightlife just a few blocks away.
What makes this property unique
Guests love the apartment and the location. The apartment is carefully maintained, well furnished and spacious--much larger than most one-bedrooms. Guests appreciate the central location with walkable restaurants and shops, and sightseeing with the White House, National Mall and Smithsonian museums just down the street.
