The space was well curated with everything we could need for our trip. We especially enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The neighborhood was peaceful and an easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor.
Great cottage! The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was due to the path to the hot tub was not shoveled making for a dangerous run to and from the hot tub. I slipped and fell on the ice which could have been prevented by having a path shoveled for guests. The BBQ grill was covered in snow as well.

Adorable cottage with hot tub that is dog friendly and fenced in yard that is great location for Acadia. Very comfortable new beds as well as great amenities including grill. Hosts were very responsive throughout and we would definitely stay again.
This is a great place to stay when visiting Acadia NP and Mount Desert Island. We stayed with our four children (ages ranging from 14 to 23) and had plenty of space. The back yard and hot tub were greatly appreciated after hiking days. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, but we also took advantage of local restaurants. Wonderful vacation spot! Also, the hosts were quick to respond to questions.
My coworker friends and I decided to extend a work trip at Acadia National Park and found this great spot! It was so nice, great price, solid communication with the host, and we were surprised with the new Hot Tub!!! Would certainly recommend and come back for a stay. Thank you very much!
A clean, comfortable place with plenty of room for our group of 5 people and one active dog! The fenced-in yard and hot tub were especially nice; full kitchen had everything we needed. Location is perfect for Quietside hiking and we were able to get to Acadia NP easily, too. Sydney was very helpful and responded to my questions in minutes. We would love to stay here again!
Ideal location. Small place perfect for a couple or small family. Well decorated and well stocked with memory foam beds (king bed is a little firm for me but my wife loved it, other softer beds available if needed). Cleaning crew forgot to restock the laundry detergent and we contacted the host who sent someone with a new supply the next morning. The service and response were awesome! Many thanks Sydney! About the only thing missing for us was ice cube trays, which the host later provided. Great place, great location. No complaints.
We just loved this house so much! It was clean and decorated super cute. Very cozy and welcoming-just as it was described and the pictures were very accurate. The location was excellent! We loved the quietness of this area, but the accessibility to everything we wanted was just a short 10-30 min drive depending on what you were looking for. The hot tub was an amazing feature, especially after long days hiking/biking. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs, but beware there is one section behind the bushes that wasn't fenced and our escape artist dog naturally found her way through. This probably wouldn't be an issue for most normal dogs, but good to know about. Also, we didn't find any doggie waste bags in the house. We might have missed them, but luckily we brought a bunch extra to use. I don't necessarily think the hosts need to provide these, but just something to remember to pack lots of because you'll need them for the house and hiking with dogs. The hosts were very responsive and the check in process was the easiest we've experienced. It was great to have the tv streaming at night when all we wanted to do was chill and relax after long days of activity. Only regret was that we didn't book to stay long. We would definitely go back!
The rental was cute, peaceful when it was just us. I loved the rooms and the kitchen was adorable. Check-in was easy. Great to have a fence yard, fire pit and hot tub.The things we had to work around with was that it smelled of strong paint right when we arrived so we opened all the windows to air it out. Towels were a little moist and not completely dry. The dogs escaped once from under the backyard gate. There were other dog messes we ended up cleaning ourselves to avoid stepping on it.Awkwardly on our 2nd day people came over to mow and we found it uncomfortable and hid in the house until they left. And I was a little taken back finding out I needed to check out an hour earlier then what the listing was posted for. So we kind of rushed to make last minute changes to our plans. This was my first time experiencimg this in a rental so I hope my feedback will help improve. I do recommend the place though. It was close to bass harbor and the restaurants there were far better then bar harbor in our opinion. Check out Beal's and Eat-a-Pita.

About the host
Hosted by Sydney & Andrew
We are Sydney and Andrew, an active duty military family who are never in one place for very long, but have fallen in love with Down East and Acadia, Maine. We are animal lovers and have rescued two Golden Retrievers, Macaroni and Cashew, who are always in tow. They love to chase birds and squirrels and roll in the grass as much as we enjoy relaxing, reading a good book, and enjoying the outdoors.
