Perfect location to explore multiple restaurants, shops while relaxing with friends. Will definitely request a future stay when in the Denver area again.
Great location for our trip. We were halfway between downtown Denver where we met friends and Red Rocks for a concert. Also, many great food and drink choices in walking distance of the house. Well maintained and a great patio in the backyard to enjoy being outside. No issues with the house and the hosts responded to my questions quickly. Would definitely stay there again!

The house was beautiful and well maintained and somehow larger on the inside than it seems to be from the outside. It was a great place for 3 generations to be able to hang out. We loved that restaurants & ice cream were in walking distance. We were in town for a graduation in Golden, so I'm not sure if we will be in Arvada again anytime soon. However, if we find ourselves in the area, we will definitely stay here again!
Our host’s personal touches made us feel especially welcomed. The home is the perfect mix of historic charm with modern bathrooms and kitchen, and was the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in!
The house was cozy and conveniently located and well stocked. I would recommend stronger blow dryers and more mirrors in the basement. Patricia is a great host
Charming and very roomy. Beautiful backyard. Close to Olde Town restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful stay with family and found the house very clean and comfortable. Would love to return sometime.
The house and backyard were beautiful! Great location with convenient walking to Olde Town. Communication with Trisha was always quick and friendly. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you.
A perfect stay for a family wedding. Great location, close to everything. The house had all the charm and everything we needed. Communication with host was excellent! Hope to be back soon!
For 4 friends having a CO getaway looking for easy access to Red Rocks, Boulder, Denver, Arvada, National Parks - the house worked out perfectly. We each had our own bedroom, owner was great & easy to work with, the house is neat & clean. We could walk across the street to Arvada, which has a cool vibe, great restaurants & plenty of shopping.
This is a very stylishly updated historical property that is walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, farmers market (in summer) and the light rail system. We were a group of 5 ladies and found the accommodations comfortable and the perfect place to catch up with each other. You will not be disappointed in this property.
Wonderful accommodations in a great location with tons of walkable restaurants. The backyard was beautiful and our toddler loved picking the raspberries! We brought our 2 children and the books, toys and the highchair were lifesavers! 10/10 would stay again! Everything we could have needed and a
It was a very updated and clean. The only suggestion is to have a bathroom in the basement. It was perfect and loved the back patio

About the host
Hosted by Patricia Littman
Our family is local to Arvada and this was our home until October 2024. We poured our hearts into restoring this home and when we had to move for family, we wanted to find a way to continue the history of the house and share the space with our guests.
Why they chose this property
We loved the vibrant hub of Olde Town Arvada and the ability to walk to so many activities and amenities for all age groups. Whether you are a family looking for biking trails and parks, or a group of friends looking for casual places to enjoy a beer or cocktail, this location is the perfect launching point for your adventures.
What makes this property unique
There could not be a better location to access some of the best places to visit in Denver and the foothills. The central location makes for short drives to Boulder, Denver, Golden, and even Summit County. If you are looking for a place where you can take a break from the car between activities, the ease of walking access to Olde Town cannot be beat.
Additionally, for those looking to stay with us in the summer months, we are happy to share seasonally available produce that grows in the back yard. Guests are welcome to pick fresh rhubarb in May-Oct, raspberries in mid July- early Oct, and apples in Sept & Oct.
Finally, this house is on the main stretch of road for Arvada - Ralston Road. Ralston Road has long been the main thoroughfare, meaning that this property has unique history. The front portion of the house was built in 1898 and served as the General Store in the early days of the city. Throughout the years it has altered back and forth between family home and business - with each tenant adding its own pieces of history to the house. We have worked to retain the original charm, and look forward to sharing it with our guests.
