About this property
Treehouse Studio: style & comfort with forest view
About this space
Winter dream! This studio looks out into the woods, from an elevation of 1,5 metres, is part of a family estate, sits at 60m away from the road to the village of Vierhouten (0,6km). It's not a simple holiday let, but rather a luxurious and comfortable zen suite with a stunning view. With vast woods and heather on your doorstep, one of the most beautiful of the Veluwe region if not The Netherlands. Endless magical forests with a special kind of stillness in winter. A four season dream spot!
The space
The Dennenholt Estate: 5 unique holiday homes, each with that little bit extra when it comes to comfort and style.
The recently renovated holiday home is a wooden accommodation with all modern commodities. Through the glass facade there's a wonderful view into the woods behind the house. The accommodation is suitable for 2 guests, on the loft there's a king size bed of 180x200cm, which can be reached by means of steep stairs. The authentic and spacious bathroom contains a large bath, separate shower and toilet. The rustic style kitchen contains a 4 hob inductions cooker, oven, large fridge, dish washer, coffeemaker (Nespresso) and electric kettle. There's no regular tv, but a smart tv which can be used for watching tv via internet/streaming. There's central heating making the house comfortable in all seasons. The woodburner stove works well and adds to the atmosphere.
Cleaning costs include bath towels (large/small), bed linen, kitchen towels, shampoo/showergel, and toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher tablets for the first days of your stay
A dog is welcome at a surcharge of €35 for 1 dog or €70 for 2 dogs (please discuss prior to booking in case you're planning to bring more than 1 dog). The costs will not be calculated when filling in you're bringing a dog but you'll be asked for payment during or after your stay. Please read our house rules with regards to dogs and let us know that you are bringing a dog. We don't accept cats.
We're happy to help with information about the nature areas, hikes and other sights nearby, before or during your stay. Check our travel guide here on AirBnB or don't hesitate to ask.
Guest access
The house is situated at the edge of the property, overlooking a small forest. It is part of a small group of 3 accommodations, each with their own maximum privacy. You will share the forest with deer and wild boar and other animals. The property is easy to get to situated on the Gortelseweg (name of the road) which takes you to the village with all its restaurants and lively terraces in Summer, but also with vast forest and heather on your doorstep.
You will also have access to the fenced off part of the estate, where there are two donkeys and some free roaming chickens. The donkeys, Sam and Frodo, love to be taken out into the woods for a walk by our guest
Other things to note
We live further down on the estate. Through the AirBnB messaging service or other app we aim to be readily available
Local tourist tax of €1,10 per person per night is not included in the price shown by AirBnB and can be paid on site during your stay.
Stay of a dog: €35 per dog per stay (not included in the AirBnB price)
A baby(travel)cot and high chair are are available (€15 per stay for the bed with or without high chair). Please indicated when making a reservation, we have only a limited number of babycots. Please bring your own sheets and blankets etc for the babycot.
We rent out 4 other accommodations here. Please ask us for the links to see or read more about them
