This spectacular warm contemporary home is uniquely positioned less than 50 yards from the restaurants, shops and galleries of Carolina Beach. Rarely can you find a home of this quality only a few blocks from Main Beach offering impressive views of the ocean, sunrises, and city lights. This contemporary masterpiece has only the finest materials. The views get more dramatic as you rise. An open floor plan with abundant natural light is enhanced by numerous design elements. A beautiful gourmet kitchen with upgraded appliances, granite counters, center island and custom cabinetry opens to the Great Room for entertaining. This home Features hardwood and travertine floors. Each bedroom has a king size bed and access to a bathroom. Home includes and brand new, over-sized, front load washer and dryer. The over-sized parking under the home also includes a beach shower. Fresh linens, towels, paper towels, toilet papers, dish soaps are all included. Cable packages in all rooms, along with high speed internet! Plenty of privacy, only 2 short blocks to the beach which includes a cross walk, and one block from the many attractions Carolina Beach beach has to offer!

**** Also all rental prices are based on occupancy. I ACCEPTED YOUR RESERVATION BASED ON THE TOTAL PEOPLE ON YOUR BOOKING REQUEST. We have had several problems this year with over occupancy and I just want to be 100% up front the expectation on rental occupancy and guidelines. Children and Babies are considered people and will be counted in occupancy totals. This home sleeps a total of 6 people

The house was awesome! We had plenty of room to spread out-3 bedrooms with king beds, 3 full baths and a fully stocked kitchen. It was quiet at night, and we could still walk to the boardwalk and to the beach. The outside shower was convenient also!

When arrived there was a toddler juice bottle on deck, the floors were dirty, our socks, feet and shoes were black, the baseboards were dirty. The ice maker was jammed. The scene was terrible, no towels in downstairs bathroom, and both tv remotes in bedrooms were not working. captain room was okay with remote. Homeless men across the street staying. (Sad) would not come back to that beach. Very dissappointed.

From booking to checkout, the whole experience was great! Easy check in, great communication, the house was super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were so close to anything we needed that we really didn’t have to drive much. We will definitely book this place again!

Great Location - Comfortable Stay

This trip was our second year in a row staying at this lovely property. We were vacationing with our adult children. It is a perfect location for us with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The beds are great and everything we need is provided. The location is great - a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The hosts are responsive and eager to please. It was a wonderful stay. I am so glad we found this property.

Great Location and House

We were very impressed with the "purple house" as it was even more than described. The house was beautiful and comfortable for all, perfectly located and convenient to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. Check-in was a breeze and our communication was terrific. We would gladly stay here again.

We loved it.

The house is perfect. Walking distance to everything, we didn’t have to drive anywhere, and there’s a store across the street for anything you need. The interior is clean, new, and spacious with high ceilings, and the beds are so comfortable it feels like you’re at a nice hotel. Front porch is awesome for people watching. We swam for hours, made s'mores on the grill, and went to the boardwalk in the evenings. Our 8 year old said she wants to live in the purple house and that it was the best day of her life. Don’t hesitate.

Worse experience EVER

Owner cancelled the reservation due to some family changes. We were suppose to have had 4 adults & 2 kids on our family trip but 1 adult had a change of plans so I added another child (teen) (3 adults & 3 kids). After starting the trip the owner call to verify our arrival time & head count. So I told him & tried explain what the changes were but he wouldn't let me get a word in & started being rude about the whole situation. Asked me to cancel my reservation at the last minute. We we're so disappointed but didn't let it affect our trip. We had to find a hotel & were lucky that it had 2 available rooms. On the plus side, we were refunded all our money after the cancellation deadline.

Carolina Beach House/Respite

My family and I just spent 4 nights at this property. Having never visited Carolina Beach, we had no idea what to expect. What we knew from our pre-visit investigation was that this property was 2 blocks inland from the beach and 1 block removed from the main drag that runs the length of Carolina Beach. We arrived after dark so we weren’t really able to see the exterior of the property. When we opened the door, however, we were very pleasantly surprised to see a very clean, modern and tastefully appointed kitchen and den. The floors were covered in appealing hand scraped wood and the bathroom just off the kitchen/den area was beautifully decorated with a blue tropical wallpaper and white trim and accents. Quite dramatic and very tasteful. The 3 upstairs bedrooms and 2 additional bathrooms were equally impressive. The house speaks of high-end finishes with 10 inch baseboards, crown mountings and trimmed out windows throughout. The furnishings and bedding materials are just right. Not spartan and not overdone. One note of caution: the king bed in the master bedroom sits high off the ground. Probably 36-40 inches high. If you are short, elderly or are disabled, this could present an issue for you. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and highly recommend it for a family of 4-6.

My husband and I stayed here while vacationing at the beach. The location is EXCELLENT. You are within easy walking distance to the board walk, beach, restaurants and shops. There is a small grocery store across the street which is very convenient. The ocean is two blocks - easy walk from the house. Parking is expensive in Carolina Beach. It was so nice to have the covered parking at the house and not have to worry about paying every time we left to eat or go to the beach. Kure Beach down the road is nice, but it doesn't have the shops and restaurants like Carolina Beach. The house itself is beautiful. When we are on vacation we do not cook, but the kitchen seemed to have everything you would need. There are three bathrooms and three bedrooms, we just used the master which was very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described. I loved sitting on the porch and reading while feeling the ocean breeze. I would walk to the coffee shop and then to the ocean in the mornings. This house offered everything I needed to make our vacation perfect!
