The house and the surrounding neighborhood is jawdropping! I especially enjoyed the morning breezes coming into the kitchen from the screened in porch.
We all enjoyed our family vacation at this house! Safe, quiet neighborhood with a moderately quick walk to the beach. Property manager was friendly and responsive. Thanks!
This was the perfect house in the perfect location for our group! We had three families who appreciated being able to have their own separate living spaces in the house. And walking to Nauset beach was a huge bonus! We enjoyed the house and location so much that we already booked next year!
Amazing location, close to both Nauset and bay beaches, in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Great layout of the house for an extended family of 3 generations, with a nice pool area for some swim time.
Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home for a multigenerational vacation. The neighborhood is lovely, the pool was perfect, and proximity to the ocean is just fantastic. Rob, the homeowner, was extremely communicative and helpful, and I couldn't recommend this property more for those looking to enjoy summertime in the Cape.

Lovely house close to a lovely beach
The house is open and spacious, with beautiful views from all around. Nice quiet neighborhood. The pool was terrific. The owner was responsive and a pleasure to work with.
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. We had a group of 12 with children of ages ranging from 4-17. Plenty of space for all of us to spread out and relax. Great to have the pool, and walking path access to Nauset Beach (Skaket a quick drive). Robert was a wonderful host and his property team helped us when we accidentally set off the fire alarm! :) All in all a great trip.
Well maintained, spacious and very clean house.
The kitchen tools, plates and glasses were plentiful . There were also plenty of chairs, toys and towels for the beach.
Excellent location with a short trail walk to beach.
The owner responded immediately to any questions or issues
It was an excellent choice for a family get together for 7 adults and 3 children
This house is beautiful in a stunning neighborhood. The pool is quite special facing the trees and there are many comfortable lounge chairs and a nice table for eating.
Our host had excellent communication with us. He shared about the home and the surrounding area. This is a wonderful home for a large group of friends or family.
We had a very happy week!
I start with the neighborhood, which is a high end collection of well manicured homes in the low hills of East Orleans overlooking the ocean. The ocean beach ( Nauset) is a short walk/drive away, while the Bayside beach ( Skaket) is 15 drive. Both are fabulous.
The home is spacious, well designed and filled with amenities, including a pool, finished basement (1st floor). 4.5 bathrooms, 6 bedrooms and a perfect place for families.
The owner was wonderfully communicative and responsive.
Enjoy this gem.
Great location and beautiful home. The neighborhood and access to the beach via a short woods path was wonderful. The house is very large with ample room for 3 full families. We had 10 people with room to spare.
A few small gripes
1. There is only 1 king size bed. We had some larger guests that were cramped in a queen.
2. The downstairs bedrooms have no real doors. It was very noisy for those guests who had only a thin accordion style closure.
3. There was very little attention paid to paper products, soaps, and kitchen stocking. We had no oil, sugar, and ran out of both toilet and paper towels. There were no hand soaps in bathrooms, and of course no towles or linens.
4. We had to rent separately bath towels, kitchen towels, wash cloths, all bed linens, ect. Very inconvenient. Could easily have been handled by the property management, even at an additional upfront cost. I understand the need to use a linen service to speed up change over time frames. Just not easy for us to manage that part ourselves. We had a hard time getting the quantities we needed correctly and the linen company had to come twice. We did not have a list of items needed, but just a list of beds and sizes. We were short hand towels, wash cloths, and pillow cases. We got it sorted, but this could have been a smoother process.
Pluses! There was the excellent kitchen with plenty of pots and pans! Excellent decks and sitting areas! Very beautiful setting!

Response from VrboOwner on 22 October 2023
I do everything I can to ensure people have an excellent stay, and while I’m happy you enjoyed our house, its location, and size, you’ve mentioned some things you weren’t completely happy with, so let me respond.
Certainly, when you booked your stay you knew there was only 1 king bed - it’s right there on the main VRBO listing page. So to “gripe” (the word you use) about the house only having one king bed is like ordering a beet salad at a restaurant and then telling the waiter the salad was great, but you wish it didn’t have beets on it.
About the supplies we provide – the Welcome Letter I sent you said; “Upon arrival you’ll find starter sets of Kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo and K-Cup coffee pods”. These items were in the house when you arrived, and while you mentioned there wasn’t bar soap, I know for a fact there was because I arrived after you left and I saw the partially used bars and empty boxes. We also do our best to keep supplied, AND YOU HAD; dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash can liners, hair conditioner and bottles of soft soap. So while you’re correct that we do not supply food-stuffs, like oil and sugar, contrary to your comment, I believe we do pay attention to this stuff.
Finally, I’m sorry the linen service you hired messed up your order, but I'm not sure why you feel you didn’t know what was needed. In the email I sent you (and you confirmed to me that you received it) I wrote; “We have beach towels, kitchen towels, bath mats, pillows, and blankets for all of the beds. You will need bed linens and bath towels”. I then listed out the bed sizes. The companies that provide linens** all have linen and towel “packages”. All you needed to do was to tell them; “I need linens and towels for 11 people and we have such and such beds”. And you certainly didn’t need to rent kitchen towels, they were in a drawer in the kitchen island (again, I know they were there because I arrived after you left and I used these towels), so if you had simply asked me I would have told you this.
** During the craziness that is turn-over Saturday, there simply isn’t time for the cleaning crews to get to all the houses they need to, while also taking the time to wash, dry and fold towels and linens for a large house like ours, which is why “renter-provided linens” is so common and why there are many companies that provide linen and towel packages to renters all the time.
The property was everything we wanted it to be. Plenty of room for thrvfamily to enjoy each other and a great convenient location. Great communication with the owner. The house had everything we needed, and then some. This included everything from cooking to going to the beach.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in the area.
House and host were extremely accommodating, and it was the perfect house for a few families to vacation with separate living spaces on each floor. The proximity to the beach and pool was a huge plus as well as beach plans with infants can be challenging.
The home is perfect for two families!! So much space for privacy. Close to Nauset Beach cccg
Unfortunately we had 6 out of 7 rainy cold days. We were four high school friends celebrating our 70 th birthdays! If the house hadn’t been as spacious, we would have left early but enjoyed cooking meals and visiting different towns nearby. Lots of good restaurants too
This property was perfect for our family. 3 levels with lots of space to spread out. The heated pool was wonderful for the children and adults. The location couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend this amazing property. Robert was great to work with as well. Thanks so much for sharing this gem.
In addition to the house being awesome, Robert was a huge player in the success of the trip. He provides an online guess book that has all of the check in/check out procedures plus his favorite restaurants which we burned through the entire week. We had neve been to Orleans before so this was a huge help. Top notch professional and willing to answer any questions even during your stay. The house is amazing with lots of room. It's located in a very secluded area so if you want piece and quiet, this is the place to go. All of the houses in this community are amazing. You are only have a two mile drive to town. There is a half mile walk to the beach through the woods which we did almost every morning. Highly recommend Robert and this incredible property.
We have been visiting the Cape for over 10 years and I can honestly say that this was one of our favorite trips! Our first time in Orleans (we normally stay near Eastham/Wellfleet area) and I am in love with this area! So many things to do!
There were 8 of us on the trip ranging in age from 74-10 years old! The house is huge and we all spread out! No one felt crammed or on top of each other! This house is truly a gem and we will back! Thank you!
