Beautiful spot

A quiet retreat getaway. House was perfect - comfy, clean. It is near a secondary highway, but not noisy in house. More like white noise when going to bed. Otherwise not noticeable. Outside is more pronounced. Property is very pretty, and provides nice views and walks. Wildlife viewing from house. A very nice stay

Hi! I’m a lifelong Carolinian and have called the Piedmont Triad home for the past 20 years. I love this area for its blend of rich culture and natural beauty—renowned universities, a vibrant arts and music scene, and a blossoming food culture all make this region truly special.

As a travel advisor by profession, creating meaningful experiences for others is at the heart of what I do. Hosting at Water Lilly Cottage is a joy for me. Whether it’s enjoying a peaceful picnic while deer wander by or watching a spectacular sunset over the lake from the deck, this place has a calming magic that I love sharing with guests. Whether you’re planning a family getaway, a romantic weekend, or a quiet solo retreat, I’m here to help make your stay easy, relaxing,

What makes this property unique

Without a doubt, this property is special because of its location. The cottage sits behind two lakes and in front of horse pasture land. It's bordered on both sides by woods. As Kernersville continues to grow, "progress" is grabbing every morsel of land. This property is a refuge. A pair of bald eagles return year after year to nest, turkey run through the fields every spring, fawn can be found in significant numbers every year, and there's never a shortage of turtles, bunnies, or groundhogs. It's a pleasure to see nature all around you from this sweet cottage.
