Cozy cottage nestled in the woods near WILLSTELLA Farm Venue

Cute two-bedroom cottage nestled in the woods beside a beautiful romantic wedding venue! Sleeps 4 comfortable but can supply you with a blow-up bed on legs if we know prior to check in for an additional $40. There is a couch in the sunroom off of the master bedroom that would be suitable for younger adults. House has an open den with gas logs in the fireplace! Nice wrap-around deck overlooking the wooded lot. You are close to downtown but feel like you are way out in the country once you get settled into this cozy cottage.

Amazing place

We absolutely loved it. Close enough to everything but also away from the mess. The host was amazing as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Very cute house! Great location in a quiet area. Secluded yet close to everything. Very thoughtfully decorated yet cozy and welcoming. Kitchen is small but functional- had everything we needed. LOVED the sunroom- perfect for morning coffee, afternoon nap, or just taking in the quiet!

Beautiful home & location

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at your lovely home. It really took my breath away when we entered. Every room was so cooly decorated. You are quite the interior decorator. The master bed was so comfortable. We even had a chance to play a bit of ping pong. Very fun for us. Hated to leave. Hope to come back again.

I loved it!

Very lovely cottage, comfortable, relaxing, has everything you need, like a home away fromm home-But better! Many spots to relax-outside in the yard, a side deck and two back deck areas in the back deck, one glass enclosed from the master bedroom so you can look out into the woods; In close proximity to Walmart, Lowe's, several fast-food restaurants & more! It was very easy to communicate via text with the property manager and she was very respectful & nice. I would love to stay here again!!

Felt right at home

Felt right at home at this property. The beds are good for sleeping and everything works as expected, no surprises which is what we like! Glad we played a few ping pong games outside. Lots of interesting coffee table books to read. Next time we will make sure to have time to play some of the vinyl records that are there.

Enchanting Weekend

Nestled in the NC woods, We felt so at home! Great location in Kernersville. Felt secluded yet close to anything we needed. The house was completely stocked with everything we needed for our family of five. Comfy beds, full kitchen, clean linens, fire place and ping pong table! Kids and adults had a great time! Landlords readily available to help with any questions. Wonderful weekend! We will be back! Thank you!!

An Amazing Gem

Due to airline cancellations we were delayed 8 hours, getting to the VRBO at 3:am. The owners were 100% available to us during our journey, and extremely accommodating. Even arriving in the middle of the night, we walked in and instantly became happy. This is a very special place. It is filled with beautiful antiques and had a well-appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds, very clean bathrooms, and a wrap-around back porch that looks out into the woods, where I saw deer roaming the next morning. Just incredible. Super convenient to town amenities, but when you’re at the VRBO you feel secluded but very safe. Would 100% stay here again.

3 Generation get-a-way

My mother, daughter and I stayed for a 3 generation get-a-way. All the places I viewed were very nice, neat and clean but I always look for something unique to add to our experience and the Vanstella Cottage was just perfect. Sitting back off the road by itself with the wrap-around porch, facing the woods was so peaceful and the lighting around the woods and property at night was a nice touch. The decor in the house is amazing. There is plenty of light and fresh air with the sliding glass doors and windows. On chilly days and nights you can be cozy by the gas fireplace. The master bedroom is a dream come true with its added patio room. No stairs to climb (inside or out) and a walk in shower is perfect for someone with limited abilities. On arrival we were welcomed with lighting, soft music and a fresh scent throughout the house. The welcome book on the kitchen counter explained everything you would need and the additional information on how the farm venu and cottage were named was interesting to know.. Tucked right off the road but the feel of being secluded. Conveniently located close to Winston Salem, Greensboro, restaurants and shopping for all you need. The owner is an exceptional host, so quick to respond with any concerns you may have. I highly recommend Vansella Cottage for your next stay.

We have lived in Kernersville for 50 years. We bought the Smith Farm in 2013 and decided in 2015 to turn the old farmhouse and barn into a beautiful wedding venue and we named it after the owner's Will & Stella Smith ( WILLSTELLA FARM). We have hosted over 150 weddings so far. We were privileged to be able to buy the cottage from one of the siblings that were born in the farmhouse. This cottage is nestled in the woods far enough from the venue but close enough to feel the magic of taking you back in time to when porch sitting and relaxation was more common. We are sure you feel very rejuvenated after your stay at the VANSTELLA COTTAGE. The cathedral ceiling and gas logs in the den create a great room for hanging out and chatting and the wrap-around deck overlooking the wooded lot adds another great conversation area. Both of our statement bedrooms will definitely give you a good night's rest with lush linens.
