Cute Capitol Hill area location

The apartment is in a perfect location for everything I needed. It was clean, everything worked and there was plenty of hot water. Another review mentioned the construction that is immediately next door. That did not bother me. I was there for a work trip so I was not woken up by the noise. Another description I would mention is the apartment is on the second floorthe noise.

Family DC Spring Break

The cons: My family and I stayed in the property for a short spring break stay. There was some confusion regarding the on site parking- we were recommended to park on the street which isnt a viable option as you must move your car every 2-3 hours during the day or have a parking pass. They could issue a temporary street parking pass however choose not to (fortunately we were there to visit family and they were able to issue one for us for the length of our stay). My biggest issue was that there was no mention of the active construction site directly next door (which begins work between 7-730 daily). It was very loud and from conversations with the construction crew they are building an apartment complex- it’s currently a pile of dirt. Expect this to be an issue for the next year or two. Additionally the apartment is missing a few features- there is no dresser in the master bedroom nor a drying rack in the kitchen for dishes or a broom to keep the unit clean. The pros: the location is excellent and less than one block from the Potomac ave station making utilizing the metro a breeze. Overall the unit was clean and our stay was short so there was no need for a mid stay clean. The shower is good- both the hot water and water pressure was good.
