This place is at the perfect location. The area is safe and steps from a metro station. There's a nice restaurant hall across the street that was super convenient. My family of 5 really enjoyed this place. There's also a Safeway within walking distance that was nice to have available to stock up the fridge at the beginning of our trip.
GREAT PLACE TO STAY! Our family had a WONDERFUL TIME. Mother with an eleven year old and a fourteen year old. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures and Madison, the host, was FANTASTIC: attentive, thoughtful, quick to respond, and kind. The location was also central to restaurants, to markets, to sightseeing, and to bike trails. The neighborhood also has a collegial, upbeat vibe that we enjoyed. Great time!
Very understanding and kind host! Clean property, spacious, excellent bathroom and kitchen space. We had a baby with us and didn’t have any problems making room for him to play/sleep. We had the cooking utensils and appliances we needed. Quick walk down the street to a great food hall, and the neighborhood felt very safe and walkable. Close to the mall for all of the tourist-y things, which kept the commute to a minimum! It was perfect for us.
This was a great place to stay for short or long term visits to DC. Easy access to the Metro. Nice and clean with a fab kitchen. The only problem I had was my Telluride really didn’t fit in the parking space. Definitely would stay again.

The place was clean the build was great the access the to fire escape was a little surprising but it was welcome to be able to take out the trash and stuff. It was great honestly. I would definitely stay again for sure! Oh!!! Washcloths! More washcloths would be awesome
Perfect property in a perfect spot! The entire apartment was spacious and clean. Beds were super comfy. The owner went out of his way to help us out with a timely package that needed delivered. He allowed us to send it to him and he brought it to us. We plan to stay at the property each time we visit DC, which will be quite a bit over the next few months. 10 out of 10!
The apartment is in a perfect location for everything I needed. It was clean, everything worked and there was plenty of hot water. Another review mentioned the construction that is immediately next door. That did not bother me. I was there for a work trip so I was not woken up by the noise. Another description I would mention is the apartment is on the second floorthe noise.
We stayed here 4 nights in July. The unit was very clean, the check in process was seamless, and the Metro station is about a block away. Because of the location, all the trains make the same stops, which means you can always get on the next train! You never have to wait very long. There are multiple restaurants including a coffee house inside The Roost, which is a 5 minute walk. The Safeway grocery store is a 10 minute walk, and also had a Starbucks inside. CVS is also a 10 minute walk, so anything you could need is a short walk away. I had a couple of questions, and Madison was very quick to respond and answered every question I had, and she was very accommodating to a request concerning our luggage! The mattresses are brand new and very comfortable. Without hesitation, I would stay here again!
The cons: My family and I stayed in the property for a short spring break stay. There was some confusion regarding the on site parking- we were recommended to park on the street which isnt a viable option as you must move your car every 2-3 hours during the day or have a parking pass. They could issue a temporary street parking pass however choose not to (fortunately we were there to visit family and they were able to issue one for us for the length of our stay). My biggest issue was that there was no mention of the active construction site directly next door (which begins work between 7-730 daily). It was very loud and from conversations with the construction crew they are building an apartment complex- it’s currently a pile of dirt. Expect this to be an issue for the next year or two. Additionally the apartment is missing a few features- there is no dresser in the master bedroom nor a drying rack in the kitchen for dishes or a broom to keep the unit clean. The pros: the location is excellent and less than one block from the Potomac ave station making utilizing the metro a breeze. Overall the unit was clean and our stay was short so there was no need for a mid stay clean. The shower is good- both the hot water and water pressure was good.
It was a little small for the 5 of us, and there was not enough dishes to eat in. Otherwise was ok and probably what you would expect for the price. Parking was difficult as the entire area is 2-hour parking. There were spots easily found but you can’t leave your car there all day while you explore DC.
This place was fantastic, so easy to book and stay to visit DC. The host was very fast to reply to my 100 questions, the place was clean and neat plus the check in and out process was very smooth. Once I parked I did not have to get in my car again for anything. It’s one block from the metro and one train takes you to almost every monument and museum or gov building. There is a new grocery store next to the metro that is like a smaller Trader Joe’s. There is a sub shop next door that is delicious and a CVS a couple blocks away as well. It also has the basic kitchen tools which is great to cook meals with a family. I highly recommend it and will stay there again!!
