We loved the house. Would stay there over and over again. Clean. Check in process so easy. Beautifully designed. Perfect for us. Pool was amazing. Only bad thing was one cushion is missing on main couch in living room.

House overall was very nice. The living room carpet was not vacuumed when we arrived and there was no functioning vacuum to clean it myself, so we had a dirty carpet for our stay. We had dirty socks after walking through the house after an hour, so washed the floors as well. The living room sofa was missing a cushion and was not comfortable. The house could use more shade around the pool. The umbrella provided had to be rigged to get it to stand up. The decor is very nice, the lake out back had plenty of wildlife that we enjoyed watching, the washer dryer units were very nice, kitchen equipment was adequate. Plenty of drink ware, beds were pretty comfortable, appreciated the cleanliness of the towels. Bathrooms were clean and very nice, although i can agree with other reviews that stated if there were more people, there would have to be concessions made for bathroom schedules. Overall we were very happy with the property itself. we have stayed at other properties in the area, as Destin has been our family vacation for years, and at this price point there is usually a golf cart and other amenities that were included, so, we probably would chose another property next time. Lovely house.

Great Family Spot with Gorgeous Pool & Easy 5 Minute Walk to the Beach

We had a nice stay at this beautiful home in Destin! The house was beautifully decorated, well-stocked, and great for our group of 10. Check-in was easy and everything was ready promptly at 4pm.The kitchen was well-equipped with cooking basics, coffee makers, a pantry, bar area, and space for group meals.The layout worked for our family but was a bit different than expected. On the 2nd floor, there was a large master with an ensuite. The bunk room was next to it with no designated bathroom. There were also two king rooms that shared a small Jack-and-Jill bath and had doors to a shared balcony. The 3rd floor had another king room with an ensuite. There was a powder room on the 1st floor. Everyone had plenty of space, but the bathroom layout felt a bit tight for our group.The pool & back patio were absolutely stunning. We didn’t use the neighborhood pool since we had our own, but it looked nice. The house included four bikes, which were a great bonus.The walk to the beach was easy, usually about 5–7 minutes. You do cross a main road, but there is a crosswalk. You could park at the lot by The Crab Trap if you went early enough. We brought our own beach supplies, but next time we would rent chairs/umbrellas.There was a little noise from nearby homes, but it wasn’t disruptive. We did have to report a few housekeeping and maintenance issues when we arrived, but Five Star Properties was responsive and accommodating.Overall, this was a fantastic home for our family vacay!
